He will be in next week's (6.22) taping, not tonight's. Tonight is Sheldon singing soulful though (or at least that is what Jim said at Paley Fest).

Arthur Darvill is a reasonably young guy. Spry enough that if he is hurt it wont be sad for a comedy show He plays Dr. Who/s companion Rory williams

Dr. Who is watched by Sheldon. A fan of the show. Rory Williams often dies in the Dr. Who storyline.

So why would a British actor be in Pasedena?

I googled "Physicist + Arthur" today and I actually found someone who is in his 80ties and who was teaching in California. But I'm not sure his field is something Sheldon would be interested in

we only have rumors and speculations, I'n not even sure if Sheldon is really singing. I wonder when Jim was talking about the "soulfully singing" , if he not acutually ment the Santa episode. He was singing that Bohemian christmas carol very soulfully

But it also draw my attention when I read Mayims Interview with the Sadie magazin today. She was talking about her jewish beliefs and about touching men and how she balances this with the her acting career. She said she has no problems with it and she is actually touching someone this week. I don't know if she ment the "shielding scene" of the last episode or if there is really some touching on the tonights shooting

Presumabably it is the one in which Amy helps "uncondition" Sheldon's compulsion to finish everything he starts, per their Paley interviews.

Also, it could be the one in which Raj/Howard discover something disturbing about Lucy on the web, also per Paley spoilers.

Or it could be a bit of both, or something else entirely.
