When I say I want Penny to get an acting gig, I'm thing more of a commercial gig. It's something that might film for a few days, so she still has to work at the CheeseCake Factory. She needs something though, just to keep the fire going. There's also the issue of that screenplay she was writing. The writers need to start addressing these two things because Penny didn't move from the Mid-west to California to become a waitress.

I say this because I am a writer/actor and I'm always working on stuff. The longer things go with nothing happening the more easily it is to get discouraged and give up on the dream.

Now that the season is over (as far as tapings) I will not cheat next year so you will not see me much in here anymore. When I go to a taping that will be different but I want to be surprised next year.

Lets see how long this lasts...

So this is TOTALLY random and TOTALLY could have been talked about before, but I just thought of it. So in “The Wheaton Recurrence” Howard asked Leonard if he tried to bring porn into the relationship “because that can be complicated/women don’t seem to like that.” Maybe that’s hinting at what happened with him and Bernadette?

I am going to try to be spoiler free next year, but I fear that it will forever dominate my destiny.

Other than L/R/S asking Howard what really happened or asking Penny who should know since she works with her, we will probably never know what happened. The writers seemingly just blowing off the H/B relationship in my opinion is a sign that for them it was never a big deal to begin with.

Well, both Howard and Raj were guessing a lot of things, so I don't think it would make much sense to just pick one and assume that's what happened with Bernadette. Plus, in the final cut they didn't even end up using that line, they went with the short stack one instead (which I was happy with, cause I thought it was funnier).

I agree with Carl that we'll probably never get the details of what exactly ended the relationship, which is too bad.
