Arrow Spoilers and Speculation #151
After defeating his most formidable foe to date and riding off into the sunset with longtime flame Felicity Smoak, Oliver Queen (a.k.a. The Arrow) left Starling City with the hopes of beginning a new life. Agree. MG caught heat from his poor decision to kill her. The higher ups had him sweating bullets so he brought her back. It's ineffective. Not when he's truly not invested - if he were he never would've killed her off. He's not fooling anyone.
Thank-you for the scoop and filming info guys! __________________

MG didn’t get the heat for killing her off the show I think the higher ups were ok with wat he did if they weren’t they wouldn’t have killed her off in the first place & they had to bring her back for different reasons anyway KC characters that she played on The CW shows didn’t those writers kill her off as well so MG or no MG she still got fired

As for the higher ups, Geoff Johns President and CCO of DC in his 2016 interview on DC, he spoke solely about the Flash TV show, how it embodied hope and opened the character to new audiences. He never name dropped Arrow or said anything positive the show throughout his interview. His only comment was when the topic came up in Rebirth discussion: Quote:
