Aww, that part is so great. I feel like Rory's "it suits you" emphasizes that everything is right this time, you know? Remember the Lorelai/Rory scene in (and outside of) the diner in R&R? Rory's disbelief about Lorelai dating Luke? What if it doesn't work out? Yada yada yada (P.S. - I adore that scene). And now? Rory gives that true smile and says, "it suits you." Awesome.

Really? Thanks for the info, I didn't know that. I wonder that also. If so, I think it definitely worked, IMO. I probably wouldn't have minded Lorelai taking action and just kissing Luke, but as a series finale thing I think the mutual kiss shows they are more on the same page.

TV Squad says Vanessa Marano's pilot made the ABC schedule as a midseason replacement - I don't think it's been brought over yet?

I have the entire series (minus the Chris/Lorelai elopement) and a ton of GG related media...probably over 40g worth...lol it's sad but I don't plan on getting rid of any of it.

Great Video Audirox as all of your videos have been. Thank you for putting the effort in and sharing your works of art.

Well it's been 24 hrs+ and nothing has changed in retrospect. L/L sl was truncated way too much to provide any kind of real closure. Lorelai spent more time telling Rory that her and Luke were done than actually reconciling (reaching a new understanding?, going in a direction?) with Luke. They've been there before and somehow it didn't work when it should have, what's to say it would work this time. People can use their imaginations but what this show and its showrunners have both shown us is that you should take the worst possible scenario into mind because that is the route the show ended up following and while it was in search of its journey it lost the essence of what the show was really about. The journey became the story and the story lost it's way. In the pilot, oddly enough Lorelai's journey through the town took her to the diner. The pilot ended with Lorelai and Rory in the diner. The main thing that this season lacked was Lorelai in the diner. The last few episodes have shown just how much.

Except for the roller coaster yammering, I think the Lorelai and Rory scenes were all good especially when she went and sat on Rory's bed. Lane and Rory - the dialogue was there and it might have worked in season 4 but it doesn't work in season 7, they are not as close now as the scene implied. I liked when Miss Patty and Babbette were complaining about no party that Luke was enthusiastically congratulating Rory. It was nice of them to highlight the townies but where was Mrs. Kim ( I know she was babysitting but they should have included her somehow). Richard complimenting Lorelai reminded me of Lorelai complimenting Luke in DUaV, the town was there for Lorelai as well.

The ending was done probably as Amy would have liked, just an ordinary day at the diner.
