On Piz’s (Chris Lowell) radio show, Keith (Enrico Colantoni) debates Vinnie (guest star Ken Marino, “Reno 911”) about the upcoming election, while a tipsy Dick (Ryan Hansen) apologizes to Mac (Tina Majorino) for the way he has treated her in the past. Veronica and Piz make up after their argument about spending their summer apart, and a mysterious sex tape of the two finds its way to the internet.

There are some things that happen that I do NOT want to spoil, it's THAT good. Scenes that we NEVER thought we'd see.

RT is being real nostalgic in this episode calling back to some great season 1 and season 2 moments.

Logan is still with Parker. She's not in ep 19, he just talks to her on the phone talking about frequent flyer mileages for the summer.

Piz and Veronica have a 'hot and heavy' scene on Piz's bed. You guys are going to have to endure some pretty cutesy romantic scenes between Veronica/Piz but let's just say Piz is not who we think he is, and someone finds out about it.

It's hard to say if L/V have a chance at the end of the season. Are chances better in 19 than they are now? Yes. Logan isn't over Veronica. And if I were a betting woman, (which I'm not but bear with me) by the end of 19, hope will spring eternal.

Logan does physically get into a fight with Piz.

There's scene where Logan's an ass about why Veronica would choose a guy like Piz and then Veronica leaves with Piz...I don't know how many scenes or how much time passes in between, but I do think it's probably at least a day, etc but it's after that point that Logan finds out whatever 'secret' it is and then either finds Piz or runs into Piz and then kicks his ass. I don't even know if Piz and Veronica have that 'hot and heavy' make out scene before the altercation with Logan or if it's sometime after, etc.

Then after that fight (who knows how much longer, etc) Logan and Veronica have a scene together with just them.

There's a sex tape of Veronica and Piz.
Logan finds out and goes after Piz, beating him up.

VERONICA DISCOVERS THE ORIGIN OF HER SEX TAPE ─ Furious that Logan (Jason Dohring) attacked Piz (Chris Lowell), Veronica (Kristen Bell) tells Logan she wants nothing to do with him. Parker (Julie Gonzalo) confronts Logan about still having feelings for Veronica, while Piz assures Veronica that he had nothing to do with the sex video. Veronica, with Weevil's (Francis Capra) help, investigates how the tape originated and discovers a person from her past is linked to The Castle and pays them a visit. With the re-election campaign nearing, Keith (Enrico Colantoni) steps in to protect Veronica.

Apparently CW, Jake and Leo are back for the finale, which you know already, but to clarify this is definitely related to mysteries of the past coming back into the picture.

There will also be more than one moment in the finale where it is clear that Veronica is not really over Logan. It's not dialogue related, a script can't really resonate what is seen on the screen. It's good stuff. Source: Aje Darling @ TWoP

The sex tape scandal was a mistake, and Piz wasn't involved.
Veronica goes back to Piz for the rest of the episode and seeks out the people really responsible for distributing the sex tape.
Logan and Parker break up. Logan is alone at the end of the episode.
Logan beats up one of the guys who was responsible even though Veronica warns him against it.
Logan apologizes to Piz for beating him up.
Also (and I have to say this vaguely) there is a sense that Logan is being shown to be a lot like Aaron.Source: TLS.

Looks like a few old friends will come back for the finale. As I told you a few weeks back, Max Greenfield (Deputy Leo, who also has a hilarious comeback on this week's Ugly Betty as Amanda sinks her claws in to try and take his job), will return to Veronica for at least one episode, including the season finale. And Jake Kane will also be back! Now, as long as this isn't a fond farewell finale and just a season finale, I'm all for this. Oh, and by the way, I hear that if Veronica were to continue, Rob Thomas is interested in doing a storyline between Deputy Leo and Daddy Mars—yet another reason to renew. Source: Kristin @ E! Online

Yes, Veronica does infact tell Logan [that she never wants to see him again]. I'm not saying that that's the final note that they end on; they end on a moment that I think is glorious, really one of my favourite moments in the history of the series.

Veronica certainly ends the season on a note of discontent.

You'll see in the final couple episodes that we certainly open up a huge can of worms to deal with in Season 4, assuming we'll be back for that. It's a finale that will leave fans wanting more. Source: Rob Thomas interview with Kristin @ E!
