Master storytellers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz ("Lost," "Tron: Legacy") invite everyone to join Emma Swan, Snow White, Prince Charming, The Evil Queen, Hook and all the other resident fairytale characters as they prepare to defend themselves against a magical force from the past that's too unpredictable even for Rumplestiltskin - Elsa, the Ice Queen from Arendelle.

Welcome to Storybrooke, Maine, a small town that probably won't show up on your GPS, but it's a magical place to visit. Reality and myth merged after Emma broke Regina's curse, which had deprived the fairy tale characters of their memories and trapped them in our modern world. When they finally regained their identities, our heroes were dismayed to discover that they weren't transported back to Fairy Tale Land. To make matters worse, Rumplestiltskin - aka Mr. Gold - decided to escalate his power struggle with Regina by introducing magic into the town. But this is our world, and magic always has a tendency to yield unfathomable consequences.

You never give up on the people you love...

The Storybrooke residents do not know what Elsa has in store for them. Back in the past, in Elsa's kingdom of Arendelle, we will discover what happened to her, her sister Anna and Kristoff, and how and why Elsa became a prisoner of Rumplestiltskin. And now that Emma has brought back Robin Hood's wife, Marian, and possibly sparked the end of Regina's relationship with him, will she return to her old, evil ways and do everything in her power to get even? And newlyweds Belle and Rumplestiltskin continue to be deeply in love with each other. But Rumple is hiding a secret from Belle -- one that, if found out, could destroy their happiness - he continues to be the master of the dagger that calls upon him to be the Dark One. Can Emma and Hook commit to one another, and can these two damaged people take their love to the next level? Mary Margaret and David have a new baby, Prince Neal, and are looking forward to raising him into a proud, brave and loving adult. But they are still sad that they were not able to do this with Emma, instead helping her escape the curse when she was first born and not meeting her again until she was 28 years old. Henry is very happy to have both of his mothers back in Storybrooke. But with biological mom Emma and paternal grandfather Rumplestiltskin's blood running through his veins, he will be tested by both the light and the darkness. Finally, Will Scarlet (Michael Socha, "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland"), a former member of Robin Hood's band of Merry Men, has traveled across many lands to make his way to Storybrooke. He finds himself intertwined in the goings-on in town for the first time as his mysterious past pushes him to an unknown future.

As the season continues, new fairy tale characters will be revealed and old acquaintances will be revisited. But not everyone can be trusted.

    Do I! Just seconds before publishing this week’s Inside Line, I got off the horn with Once creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, the former of which said that The Knave’s “background as Will Scarlett, who was one of the Merry Men and a thief, comes into play very early.” Kitsis then added that for Wonderland fans, “We will be explaining why he’s in town. Here someone post this in the opening, because I'm so tired of bringing it up consistently.

I think it's very clear that Rumbelle and Captain Swan are the two couples. One old, one new. One negative thing, one positive thing. So they balance.

The characters leaving are Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff.

I am posting not because I expect any kindness. I held back about Hook so many times because I thought I had friends here that wouldn't unleash hate in return about Rumple.. so i was sensitive to you guys, but I can see I couldn't get that in return.

But it seems that as all of you are overjoyed with Rumple's fate and really want him to die, and Belle to move on I can point 2 instances that everyone seems ot forget when saying that Rumple doesn't fight for Belle.

1) The phone call. He only thought of her. He lay dying but he didn't care of his fate, he only cared about Belle's well being , and gave the most heartfelt speech to her about her she was as a person

2) He ing died to , the ultimate sacrifice that no one else except for Charming gave for his loves ones, and that included Belle.

Actually there's a 3rd.

This season when Belle was in pain, and yes even though he had that lie between them, he still only thought of her and comforted her and told her the mirror was wrong about her not being a hero, etc.

Leaving again, you may resume your trashing of Rumple

I'm sure all the above will be disputed because there are no fans of Rumple here, or try to see things in a way that doesn't make Rumple look vile.

Rhonwen, I often feel this way about how Regina is treated (especially with all the OQ Marian drama happening) but don't let anyone get you down. It's not worth it. I just ignore negative posters and respond to the positive/mature ones.

I am posting not because I expect any kindness. I held back about Hook so many times because I thought I had friends here that wouldn't unleash hate in return about Rumple.. so i was sensitive to you guys, but I can see I couldn't get that in return.

But it seems that as all of you are overjoyed with Rumple's fate and really want him to die, and Belle to move on I can point 2 instances that everyone seems ot forget when saying that Rumple doesn't fight for Belle.

1) The phone call. He only thought of her. He lay dying but he didn't care of his fate, he only cared about Belle's well being , and gave the most heartfelt speech to her about her she was as a person

2) He ing died to , the ultimate sacrifice that no one else except for Charming gave for his loves ones, and that included Belle.

Actually there's a 3rd.

This season when Belle was in pain, and yes even though he had that lie between them, he still only thought of her and comforted her and told her the mirror was wrong about her not being a hero, etc.

Leaving again, you may resume your trashing of Rumple

I'm sure all the above will be disputed because there are no fans of Rumple here, or try to see things in a way that doesn't make Rumple look vile.
Rhonwen, sorry you are feeling down (although understandably so, with the current plot arc of OUAT), and am sending you good thoughts.

I'm a fan of Killian and Emma as individual characters, and am also a devoted CS fan - but that said, I originally started watching the series because of RC (long time fan of his), so I've always loved the Rumple character, despite his admittedly dodgy and/or evil actions. That said, I would have preferred to not see Rumple's character backslide to Evil!WorldDomination mode. For me, it would have been far more interesting to see Rumple turn his magic to the Light, and mend fences with old enemies like Killian, and become a force for good, and to finally be the man he should be for Belle.

At the moment, though, it's obvious the writers have other plans, although we may all eventually be surprised by a truly reformed Rumple down the road. If the plot arc progresses to a break-up between him and Belle, maybe that will finally be the clarion call to him to truly repent of all his evil deeds, and choose true love over power. Would be a nice thing to see, and I'm still hopeful that eventually that will come to be.

Where did Archie get Pongo? Is Pongo from the Enchanted Forest? If not, where the heck could he have come from? Archie would never have been able to leave the town to get a dog after all. Have we seen any other people in the town that even have pets?

And I wonder since we already have Pongo, does that means they'll be brining in a Perdita? I always loved the way Perdy called Cruella "devil woman" in the animated movie.

I don't want Rumple dead but I want him punished like Regina was when she was ostracized in S2 or hook when he was handcuffed to the bed. He needs to hit rock blottom if he needs to redeemed

Where is this coming from? I am sorry you're upset Rhonwen . I hate seeing you sad.

I've seen a couple posters express issues with how Rumple is behaving. I'm wasn't one of them, as I don't think I've said anything remotely hateful so I'm not trying to jump to my own defence, but it's legitimate to criticize when someone isn't happy with the behaviour of a certain character. I don't think anyone has been cruel or mean. We had a lovely conversation a week or so ago where a poster criticized Hook and it resulted in a civil and interesting discussion. Same with Regina.

I think the poster who speculated that maybe Belle should get a new love interest wasn't even a Hook fan, so not sure why we are getting blamed here.

And there's been plenty of criticism of many characters in here. Robin, in fact, has been the one sustaining the most criticism in here lately. People have been calling him a jerk, and worse. And his fans have responded eloquently and it's been used to spur a good discussion, even though I'm sure it upsets people to hear him talked about like that. I know it upsets me to hear Hook or Emma criticized, but it isn't necessarily unwarranted or meant to hurt my feeling.

I am sorry however that you feel attacked or unwelcome here, and I wish there was something I could do to change that.

Even though I don't post as some as some of you in here, I can say as a neutral fan who loves Rumple (Bobby especially), that he has gone Joffrey Baratheon insane. It's crazy how much he has lost it. I blame the writers for that. He doesn't deserve anything lately. I'm still hoping there is a reason for his crazyness. I almost wished it's Zelena is his body.
I don't know how to feel about him. Being a villain, okay but he's so nasty.
Anyway, I'm sorry Rhonwen. I hope you're okay. Come home in Paris next year when Robert comes for The Disney Convention. We'll watch RC's filmography together.

I'm sorry you're upset, Rhonwen. Those positive examples you listed are partly what make me frustrated with Rumple now. He has shown that he can be selfless and kind and loving, but he's letting his dark side overpower those positive traits. I do think most people want to see Rumple redeem himself (at least I know I do).
