Nothing is more important than family, and these characters' bonds are as strong as the line between good and evil is blurry. Mary Margaret and Emma - mother and daughter reunited -- were sucked into a portal that transported them to what was left of Fairy Tale Land. It was there that they met Mulan and Aurora, who helped them evade Cora and Hook and enabled them to travel back to Storybrooke, reuniting them with Emma's father, David, and her son, Henry. But Cora and Hook found another portal into town, where Cora set about reuniting with her own daughter, Regina. Cora then attempted to find Mr. Gold's dagger in a play to take him down and become the Dark One herself. Hook had also aspired to kill Mr. Gold, not for power but for revenge. And Mr. Gold set out to find his son, Bae, which he did, in New York, with the aid of Emma and Henry. Much to everyone's surprise, Bae turned out to be Emma's former love, Neal, and Henry's father. Back in Storybrooke, Mary Margaret did something completely against her nature - she used dark magic to kill Cora - causing her own heart to darken. And Greg Mendell -- who saw magic in the town as a boy and believes Regina knows where he can find his father - along with his partner, Tamara, planned to eradicate magic completely from our world using a trigger that Regina had planted within her curse. During the struggle to save Storybrooke, Neal was shot by Tamara and fell through a portal to the Enchanted Forest -- barely alive - where he was found by Aurora, Mulan and Prince Phillip. Although their plan was foiled, Greg and Tamara kidnapped Henry and brought him through a portal to their "Home Office," believing that they might still be able to use him to destroy magic in all worlds. With the aid of Hook and his ship, Emma, Mary Margaret, David, Mr. Gold and Regina used the last magic bean to follow Henry, Greg and Tamara... to Neverland.

First order of business this season: save Henry. But Neverland is a much darker place than you remember, and in order for our heroes to accomplish their mission, they'll have to face a foe more powerful than the Dark One himself. What does Peter Pan want with Henry? Can our heroes put aside their differences and work together? Will Aurora, Mulan and Prince Phillip be able to nurse Neal back to health and reunite him with his family? New fairytale characters will be revealed and old acquaintances will be revisited. So think of a wonderful thought... because our Neverland's going to be a fever dream that just won't break.

  Ausiello: Once cocreator Eddy Kitsis told Matt Mitovich that with Henry’s life now on the line more than ever, Emma will be squarely focused on the dire present, with no thought given to her romantic future. Hook and Neal, meanwhile — sharing as they do a quite complicated past of their own – will arrive at some sort of agreement in the Dec. 8 episode. Says Kitsis, “You’ll see how they’re going to deal with each other and with Emma in, I think, a surprising way.”

  NATALIE: Now that Neal has discovered the truth about his lineage, it will open the door for father and son to finally have a relationship.   Ausiello: Better than clues, we have cold, hard facts. More akin to Season 1′s storytelling, “The second half [of Season 3] will take place between Storybrooke and the Enchanted Forest,” series cocreator Eddy Kitsis told Matt Mitovich. In other words, EP Adam Horowitz underscored, “It’s not a ‘journey to another land’ paradigm” à la the Neverland arc concluding Dec. 15. “We always have the ability and the desire to dip into other lands, which it’s more than likely we shall do,” Horowitz added, “but it will be in the way that we’ve done it in the past, as opposed to locking all of our characters onto a boat and sending them [to a new realm].” Source

  I brought your Q to the boys, and Horowitz assures the Rumbelle fans, “In the second half of the season, they are going to be in the same world for an extended period of time.” But Kitsis then chimed in: “If you’re a fan of Rumbelle, the second half of the season will further explore their relationship – in whatever state that is.” :-O Source
• Monica: So excited for Rebecca Mader on Once Upon a Time! Can you spill anything on what she's playing?
  She's one of the best female villians of all time, and not just in recent Disney history. This one even has her own theme music! Also, we can tell you that she is being brought in because now that Rumple and Regina have made peace, the writers felt they needed a new Big Bad and Mader's character will definitely be at odds with Regina. We will hopefully have your very first look at Mader's character (the new villain) on the night of Dec. 15 on E! Online, right after the episode of Once Upon a Time ends, so make sure you check back! I think those first pics we got of them all wearing their old outfits in 12 was when they first arrive. The pictures the day after with them all wearing different clothes a year later.

see you're forgetting that no one else can because they are stuck in the Ef, w/o memories. So you can't just put out that w/o having all the bases covered. That's all we're saying. It's too early yet. Adam is going to string the ships for as long as he can. And remember he loves to keep the really popular ships separated .. Rumbelle, and then SF if we go by that..

I'm not saying CS is confirmed, but I agree with this parallel. Obviously we have to wait until the second half, but right now, my guess is the "triangle" is done. I know it's not cool to say this, but it's just my guess. We'll know more in 3-4 months, though.

EDIT: Yeah, the triangle done? No way. It's a little naive to think that the next time Emma/Neal see each other it'll be all "Hey Neal, I totally stopped loving you 3 days after the last time I said it and I love Hook now and forever." "That's cool Emma, remember when I told you I'd never stop fighting for you? I lied. And I don't love you either. Have a great life. Drop Henry off to me every other weekend?"

I had a feeling A&E were going to do this I'm scared to watch live now... I'm worried. Seriously though and maybe It's my blind faith but I don't think Belle will be finding any new love any time soon. There's is just no one else and plus she's not that kind of character; her heart belongs to one man and one man only . Plus, if they do anything with Neal well that's just . I think both her and Neal will figure it out pronto, at least I hope so. This hiatus is going to kill me though UGH!

Oh man...just seeing the group disappearing into the purple smoke as Emma and Henry were escaping...kinda broke my heart. So did Belle's grief. So did the goodbyes. I miss SB already.

For me, I think the triangle is over for NOW, at least. I'm not certain, but I'm still convinced Emma and Hook are TL. I loved their moments tonight. And I think Emma showed zero interest in Neal. I don't think Neal is giving up, but I do think he seems resigned. Plus, he has other things to worry about right now.(like his Dad!) I cannot WAIT for this story to be continued.
