All is not well back in the Enchanted Forest when Hook comes calling on Emma in New York City in an attempt to jog her memory so that she can once again help her fairy tale family and friends out of a desperate situation. Hook now must enlist Emma in an epic struggle that spans worlds: with the highest stakes possible - the fate of her family. No one remembers how they were transported back or the past year they had spent back in Fairy Tale Land. Where We Left Off: In order to save Storybrooke, Regina let Henry destroy the town, sending everyone back to where they came from. What's Next: Regina and Robin Hood's potential future will be explored in the Enchanted Forest. - The Wicked Witch of the West (Lost's Rebecca Mader) lands in Storybrooke on the March 9 episode. She shares ties to two familiar characters. Viewers will learn what turned her green and will eventually meet the Wizard. "There might be some other surprises along the yellow brick road," Kitsis says. "We're setting up the fight of all fights: Evil Queen versus Wicked Witch!"
- The March 9 episode will also incorporate the fact that real-life couple Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas (Snow and Charming) are expecting a child. The baby will have a connection to the impending progeny of Sleeping Beauty and Prince Phillip, though producers promise there won't be a soap opera-like baby switch.
- Emma will encounter a mysterious stranger in New York City (Covert Affairs' Christopher Gorham); Charming will come to the rescue of Rapunzel (Alexandra Metz) atop a tower; and Belle will meet her French candlestick pal, Lumiere (True Blood's Henri Lubatti).
TVLine Exclusive Bombshell: A Death Is Coming
Series creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis tell TVLine exclusively that the fantastical series will be killing off a major character during the second batch of 11 episodes (launching March 9), resulting in the exit of a series regular. “The character dies, for real,” Kitsis makes clear — at which point his/her portrayer will, make no mistake, leave the show.
Every series regular cast member is a possibility – except for Robert Carlyle. The EPs have agreed to rule out that one candidate, seeing as Rumplestiltskin is theoretically already “gone” (having sacrificed himself in the name of vanquishing Peter Pan).

This can’t bode well for our resident swashbuckler: As we speak, the show is casting the one-episode role of Blackbeard, a cut-throat pirate if there ever was one.
How different is this Emma from the one we've known? Kitsis: It was an important thing. Emma, as a character, we love her. She has some new memories, but that didn't ruin her upbringing. She still grew up tough, she still grew up with a wall. It was her against the world and what we'll see is with these new memories it's now her and Henry against the world. She still is the same person, but we're going to really explore what her life is like in Episode 12 called "New York City Serenade." Source
Do the fairy tale characters sent back to the Enchanted Forest still have their memories of Storybrooke? Kitsis: Yes. They know and that gets explored. Horowitz: As we laid out in the winter finale, Emma was the one who being back there was going to lose those memories and have this new life. The fairy tale characters get left with the pain and knowledge of what happened over the years that the show has been on and what they've been through. None of that is erased. Source

NATALIE: As of two weeks ago when I was on set, Lana Parrilla told me nothing had come up in scripts between the two of them, but she expected it to happen toward the end of the season — though it might not be as easy as we'd all hope. Ausiello: Better than clues, we have cold, hard facts. More akin to Season 1′s storytelling, “The second half [of Season 3] will take place between Storybrooke and the Enchanted Forest,” series cocreator Eddy Kitsis told Matt Mitovich. In other words, EP Adam Horowitz underscored, “It’s not a ‘journey to another land’ paradigm” à la the Neverland arc concluding Dec. 15. “We always have the ability and the desire to dip into other lands, which it’s more than likely we shall do,” Horowitz added, “but it will be in the way that we’ve done it in the past, as opposed to locking all of our characters onto a boat and sending them [to a new realm].” Source

She's one of the best female villians of all time, and not just in recent Disney history. This one even has her own theme music! Also, we can tell you that she is being brought in because now that Rumple and Regina have made peace, the writers felt they needed a new Big Bad and Mader's character will definitely be at odds with Regina. We will hopefully have your very first look at Mader's character (the new villain) on the night of Dec. 15 on E! Online, right after the episode of Once Upon a Time ends, so make sure you check back! They are filming 3x16, I believe. But I’m not sure because I forgot to ask.
They are doing a night shoot from 4pm to 4am. I did not stay the whole time and only saw one scene.
In the scene I saw, there was a huge group of people standing in the middle of Storybrooke looking very nervous and worried (see image above. Sorry for quality, it was dark and I only had my phone)
There was fake fog.
Tink, Emma, Belle, Snow, and Charming walk up to the group and push through to the middle.
Charming tries to calm everyone down and says "Listen up guys, you all need to get out of here!"
The Wicked Witch appears and says "No one’s going anywhere."
The group parts like the Red Sea for her, haha!
Rumple is behind her, but he doesn’t say anything. Or I couldn’t hear him.
They talk, I couldn’t hear.
And then the Wicked Witch said something about "my sister".

When they were coming for rehearsals, Emilie had her arm looped with Bobby and they were talking and laughing and they are so cute!
During rehearsals, JMo, Rose, and Josh were off to the side and JMo suddenly laughed really loudly. I wish I heard what they were talking about!
Just before the first take, I guess Josh was really cold after taking off his huge jacket, because he suddenly ran over to a bike rack and jumped on the bike and pretended to pedal really hard. And then he ran back to his mark. Haha!
JMo was wearing the same beanstalk outfit from yesterday, but today with a black toque (for all you non-Canadians out there, it’s basically a beanie)
Tink was wearing the same modern clothes outfit as yesterday
Rebecca wasn’t green but she was wearing a witch costume
See, these aren't the same thing because Clark always had an obvious love interest in the eyes of the audience. In three years, neither Emma nor Regina have one. True Love is described as magic, which Emma and Regina have done together multiple times, but shipping them is "a joke."
Do you know how entitled that sounds? Not to mention calling one of the most passionate fandoms a joke is incrediby insensitive, rude and almost cruel. It tells people who ship it that they don't matter and are more/less stupid for even thinking that SQ could be a real thing.
As a straight woman, I've never been subjected to such attitudes before. Let me tell you, it isn't fun, and for myself, it's not representation that I am being denied, but simply insulting my intelligence and what I see on the screen.
In terms of spoilers, I really like how Eddie describes Hook as an actual friend for Emma. I'm interested to see what type of relationship develops between Regina and Robin Hood. I find it fascinating how many people are already shipping these two even though we've never seen them together on screen.
I've said this before, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me that Henry's happy ending is Regina/Hood/Hood's kid/ and Emma/Hook. Henry's happy ending is Regina/Henry/Emma.
It also doesn't work for me that Regina's happy ending is with Robin Hood. I like Maid Marian! My hope is that Regina has Marian's heart somewhere so that she didn't actually die but can be revived some way. For Hook, I love Tinkerbell and I think they have a lot of chemistry.
I don't mind folks who ship other pairings, but I do mind folks who dismiss something that 90% of folks would have shipped from day one had one of them been the opposite gender.
I as well like how Adam and Eddie called hook Emma's friend. That just shows the progression of that relationship and it by no means is an indication that that is all there ever will be. Some of the best relationships start off with being friends.
I ship Regina and Robin because the story is definitely going in that direction, pixie dust never lies and the show has already revealed that Robin is Regina's second chance at a happy ending. I am personally rooting for Regina to get her happy ending. I am also not concerned about chemistry because Lana has chemistry with everyone and everything.
I'm just hopping along for the ride of Adam and Eddys vision.

I agree, I'm totally over everyone being related. The Enchanted forest must be pretty small. But every time a new character comes along its a guessing game as to who they are related to and they all have the same story of crappy parents. It seems to be the same story told over and over. And I'm also over the sob stories for all the villains.

In most fairytales evil and good is portrayed as black and white which works for kids, but not for teens or adults. I think we all know we have a dark side in each of us and it makes us look at those who give into it and wonder why. Adam and Eddy are trying to make a point that evil is made, not born except for Peter who is obviously a sociopath! The show is trying to give all their character's depth, including the villains!

Any who... There was a pic posted of young Cora giving birth. The kid wasn't green, but it could have been Regina. I do find it kind of funny that they have her filming a birth scene. Either shes WWW mother or its about Regina. The fact that sister was mentioned leaves me to believe the new birth scene is WWW. The fact the kid isn't green doesn't mean much. I still think that even if by some chance it is rumples kid with Cora evil isn't born its made. AND maybe b/c Rumple is magical the kid had magical qualities. The kid was born to be a fairy? haha yes here I go back to the Black fairy business.. She went dark turned green... Thats a long drawn our theory. AND back to her not being green in some pics. I would agree with that. If either were a guy I still wouldn't ship them because Regina has tried to kill Emma and her whole family several times. It doesn't make sense.
But that being said I fully support people to ship SQ, RB, SW, or any same sex ship.
