I’d like to remind you all that this is the main Gilmore Girls spoiler thread, and as such, posters from various shipper groups are free to post here, so if you see someone saying something that you don’t like about “your” favorite character or couple, don’t start fighting with them on this thread, and don’t go into a Gilmore Girls shipper thread if you don’t like the couple that the shipper thread is for. Episode 7.14 - Farewell, My Pet

The CW: LORELAI AND CHRISTOPHER CONFRONT THEIR PROBLEMS - Two days after his by-pass surgery, Richard is on the road to recovery, and Rory returns to Yale, where she finds that Richard's economics class is now being taught by an attractive young professor, Tucker Culbertson (guest star Cameron Bender), who flusters Rory with his charm. While Lorelai (Lauren Graham) tries to distract herself from the issues in her marriage, she and Sookie focus on planning a funeral for one of Michel's beloved dogs. Finally, Christopher returns ready to talk, and he and Lorelai discuss the main problem that has haunted their marriage - Lorelai's feelings for Luke (Scott Patterson. Kelly Bishop, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil and Matt Czuchry also star.)

TV Guide: While Richard recuperates from surgery, a new professor (Cameron Bender) takes his place and steals Rory's heart with his charming ways. Meanwhile, Lorelai finds ways to avoid facing her problems with Christopher, including planning a funeral for one of Michel's departed dogs. But Christopher returns home and they discuss Lorelai's feelings for Luke.

TVRage.com: Days after his bypass, Richard beings the slow road to recovery and the Gilmores attempt to return to normalcy. But the real draw in tonight's episode is the heart-to-heart between Lorelai and Christopher about Lorelai's lingering feelings for Luke. Why is everyone so down on Christopher, anyway? He's kind, he has a good sense of humor, he's attractive, he's successful and he's Rory's dad, for crying out loud! Oh, and he can also hold his own against Lorelai's maddening verbal excess, which would have sent a lesser man screaming into the woods of Stars Hollow by now.

Columbia Spectator: The day before Valentine's Day promises romance and heartbreak on the CW. At 8 p.m., loyal viewers of Gilmore Girls will see the Luke-Lorelai-Christopher love triangle reach a major turning point while Logan and Rory get closer together.

The CW: THE ROAD TO RECOVERY ─ At a Friday night dinner, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) works up the courage to tell her parents about the break-up of her marriage, but is derailed by their argument over the healthy meals and no-alcohol policy Emily (Kelly Bishop) has instituted to help Richard (Edward Herrmann) recover from his heart attack. Lorelai enlists Sookie (Melissa McCarthy) to bring Richard healthy but delicious meals, then helps Emily organize Richard’s business affairs. Over a shared bottle of scotch, Lorelai finally tells her mother about the breakup of her marriage. Rory (Alexis Bledel) attends an awkward birthday dinner for Logan (Matt Czuchry) with Mitchum Huntzberger (guest star Gregg Henry), who asks her to help him steer Logan in the right direction. Later, Logan receives disturbing news about the online company he purchased. Finally, Luke (Scott Patterson) shares his home with Liz (Kathleen Wilhoite), T.J. (Michael DeLuise) and their baby daughter while their house is being fumigated. Liza Weil and Sean Gunn also star. (#2T7765).

TVGuide: Lorelai and Rory attend Friday-night dinner, where Lorelai is reluctant to tell her mom about her and Christopher's marital problems. But Emily has enough on her plate when the recuperating Richard complains about his dietary restrictions and Emily's strict no-alcohol rule. Meanwhile, Rory plans a birthday celebration for Logan, whose dad calls to invite him and Rory to dinner instead; and Liz and T.J. stay with Luke while their home is fumigated because of a moth infestation.

Futon Critic & CW: A BABY SHOWER, A JOB INTERVIEW AND A BOAT TRIP - While she is in the midst of planning Lane's (Keiko Agena) baby shower, Rory (Alexis Bledel) gets a long-awaited call from The New York Times offering her an informational interview. Lorelai (Lauren Graham) takes over the shower-planning duties, and finds herself brokering peace between Lane and Mrs. Kim (Emily Kuroda) over how Lane plans to raise her twins. Logan (Matt Czuchry) finally admits his business disaster to Rory, who offers him her full support, but when Logan announces that he is flying to Las Vegas to blow off steam with his old college pals Colin and Finn, Rory is disappointed and worried. When Luke (Scott Patterson) discovers that Liz (Kathleen Wilhoite) and T.J. (Michael DeLuise) are trying to sell his boat, he decides to make some changes in his life and take April (Vanessa Marano) on a long boat trip over the summer. If that had been the intent in creating the character Luke, then the show would be in a much, much different place right now...and not for the better. I wonder if we'll see a Luke box, maybe Rory kept it for her?

I agree. I don't think that Amy would ever say that was all Luke was. She created this character to be so much more than the category that people seem to want to put him in. He's not that simple. No matter how hard people try to make him so, he's just not.

With the spoilers, yes, they are confusing. Paris would put them in order with the quickness. However, it seems sort of obvious, that there is something going on with Rory and Logan at this point. While it could be shenanigans. It could also be the maligned fanbase finally having a bone thrown their way. Which would make my year. Whateverthecase, the game, is afoot. Gather the hounds!
