“Nashville” is set against the backdrop of the city's music scene and follows Rayna Jaymes and Juliette Barnes. Both women face personal and professional challenges as they navigate their paths as artists and individuals. Surrounding them and often complicating their lives are their family, friends and, in some cases, lovers, as well as the up-and-coming performers and songwriters trying to get ahead in the business. Music City can mean so many things to different people. In "Nashville," musicians and songwriters are at the heart of the storm driven by their own ambitions. A side for 518 went up. Some guy named Brad who is the ex-husband of Jessie (Rachel or Kaitlin's character maybe?). Jessie is performing at a benefit, her ex shows up, they have a kid together apparently. Deacon's there, representing H65 it seems (so Jessie is on H65 I think). The ex owns a label, makes some comment about how H65 might try to take over them next

Just got a new survey about season 5A. Wrote 'til my fingers nearly fell off. Was asked which characters I liked and which I didn't like and then they asked me about specific ones. Hallie, Juliette, Scarlett, and Will stand out to me.

I'll for sure be filling out that survey when I get home tonight. Definitely some things I need to tell the.

I guess the specific ones are random for everyone. I was asked about Maddie, Clay, Hallie and Gunnar specifically.

It's weird how all of the older cast is now gone but for Chip. I'm the same age as he is and always enjoyed that there were actual people my age on the show who had real lives. Wonder if they'll be adding anyone to round out the cast a bit?

What did you think about the storyline questions? Thought it was interesting too that they asked if we thought Nashville belonged on CMT or on another channel. Hated that Rayna was still included in the cast list. Um, she died guys, don't you remember?

I thought some of the questions about future storylines were weird. Like Daphne and Maddie going on tour together is news to me. Where did that come from?

They asked me about Deacon, Bucky, Zach and Maddie (they got quite a rant on that one :lol:)

That one was weird to me too. And yeah, it looks like there may be a custody battle over Daphne, but in all reality Deacon has no legal claim to her. Best he could do I think is get the right to visit her.

Almost all of the potential future stories sounded absolutely awful. Definitely not regretting my decision to stop watching

There were a couple of interest to me, but again, it's all woman-centered. The only one that focused on the guys was Teddy and Deacon, and Daphne is really the focus there.
