The critically acclaimed drama series "Nashville" returns for a third season. In the season two finale, Rayna was left at a crossroads with marriage proposals from both Luke, her superstar boyfriend, and Deacon, her first love and the father of her oldest child. Whom will she choose? And how will she navigate the turbulent road helming her own label, Highway 65? Juliette had lost the security of her newfound love with rising artist Avery, which foundered when she cheated on him with Jeff Fordham, the record label executive who has made no secret of his contempt for her. This season she will not only grapple with that heartbreak, but also with a pregnancy.

Will's sham of a marriage is cracking under the weight of his admission to his wife Layla that he's gay, and to the cameras of the reality show shadowing their every move. Will his burgeoning career be his salvation or an albatross? Scarlett, Gunnar and Avery continue to struggle to find their muses and voices within in the music industry, and the dynamics of their careers, friendships and search for love seems to shift continually.

Rayna's daughters, Daphne and Maddie, cope with their mother's engagement as well as her ever-increasing fame, while her ex-husband, Teddy, forms a shaky new alliance with Rayna's nemesis, Jeff Fordham.

"Music City" can mean so many things to different people. In Nashville, musicians and songwriters are at the heart of the storm driven by their own ambitions. Some are fueled by their creativity and passion for fame. Others struggle to cope with the pressures of success and doing everything in their power to stay on top.

"Nashville" stars Connie Britton as Rayna Jaymes, Hayden Panettiere as Juliette Barnes, Clare Bowen as Scarlett O'Connor, Chris Carmack as Will Lexington, Will Chase as Luke Wheeler, Eric Close as Teddy Conrad, Charles Esten as Deacon, Oliver Hudson as Jeff Fordham, Jonathan Jackson as Avery Barkley, Sam Palladio as Gunnar Scott, Lennon Stella as Maddie Conrad and Maisy Stella as Daphne Conrad.

Dee Johnson ("Boss," "The Good Wife"), "The War Room," "A Perfect Candidate"), Callie Khouri ("Thelma & Louise") and Steve Buchanan are executive producers of "Nashville." The series is produced by Lionsgate, ABC Studios and Opry Entertainment.

Well it looks like Teddy is hosting the event. So maybe Daphne wanted to stay with him so not everyone would have ditched his event

Sounds like the same program that Edgehill was funding. So looks like Teddy is looking for an alternate source of funding to keep it going.

That's what I thought. So at least why know by then Rayna must be letting him see the kids because they are both there.

Do we know which actor got sick, to warrant the cancelling of the filming of Bluebird scenes today?

I saw this weird tweet earlier, now I wonder if JJ had some sort of mishap..

Continuing the line of good news these sides are sounding more and more like the fanfic. Apparently Deacon has moved in with Rayna and the girls, my guess is by episode 318. It appears that Rayna has lied to him and told him she needs to leave for a couple of days on a business trip, but in reality she goes to Natchez to talk Beverly into donating a piece of her liver. There's also a bunch of flashbacks to Natchez in episode 320

I hope Beverly isn't the donor (not only because of it being impossible in RL) but because I feel like it's drama free. I mean does anyone care if Beverly lives or dies at this point, she is a guest character. I want a game changer person to be the donor.

Deacon living with Rayna and the girls!!! And Rayna/Beverly scenes!!!

Are the flashbacks like Deacon/Beverly when they were kids? DR/Beverly (and little Scarlett maybe)?

They start when Deacon and Beverly are leaving Natchez. There seems to be a little bit of re-writing history like this show always likes to do, and Beverly originally came with Deacon to Nashville and they were performing at the Bluebird together, maybe when Rayna first met Deacon. Not sure how far along the flashbacks go.

And to the other poster, I'm sure that Beverly is the donor at this point. Sorry to disappoint. We're already up to 220 which means unless there's a cliffhanger with something going wrong she'll be the donor. Also Rayna said in this one that she was tested but she's not a match, and Maddie is too young.

Yeah wasn't it 318 that has Deacon eating at Rayna's with the girls. It could have happen during the 317-318 timejump. It's a shame the break wasn't between 317-318 instead of after tonight
