I liked the sneak peek cause sounds like Avery already quit. I just hope he doesn't go back by episode end. I want Avery to focus on his career before producing randoms/newbies. Want me some Avery songs

I could see him to find time for both. Producing someone he believes in and knows better than anyone and having his own career. Plus we could get like when he was Sadie producer and got that amazing Novocaine duet. Yes I am desperate for more J/A duet after his 5 minutes relationship with Layla got more duets(although it was him as back up singer really) than J/A ever had the time they were a couple.

I too hope that this prods Avery into wanting to perform again. However, I also fear that it means he won't be in this episode very much. It really seems to be a Maddie ep. and I've made no secret about how I feel about that.

Well the promos have at least 2 J/A scenes in the episode as well as that Avery/Ashley one (and they had a few in the sides right before he walk out?)

The Ashley scenes in the sides are mainly focused on her interactions with Avery. They keep fighting because she wants him to add autotune and reverb and such to her songs and he doesn't want to. Deacon's there but mostly trying to stay out of it.

At that point Maddie seems to be spending a lot of time at the front desk and getting coffee which is how she meets Clay.

Yeah the sides scenes are mostly pretty early in the episode. The last Ashley scene is in the middle of the episode and Avery is storming off and then Maddie comes in (with lunch I think). So looks like this is after that.
