About the Series

At once deeply observed and intriguingly elusive, THE AFFAIR explores the emotional effects of an extramarital relationship. Noah is a New York City schoolteacher and novelist who is happily married, but resents his dependence on his wealthy father-in-law. Alison is a young waitress trying to piece her life and marriage back together in the wake of a tragedy. Set in Montauk at the end of Long Island, the provocative drama unfolds separately from both the male and female perspectives, using the distinct memory biases of both to tell the story.

Do we really care about Whitney and her wedding? She has been depicted in such a bad light all through the series. If they wanted us to care, why make her so awful!

Basing it on IG pics I've seen, there is a lot of Whitney. Well, it seems like there is.

For some reason Sarah Treem seems to love Whitney, even though she has made her so awful. Maybe it reminds her of someone from her own teenage days.

On the bright side, When They See Us got 16 Nominations and one for Limited Series, so we might just see Josh at the Emmys.

I think we will see him there. JVDB's series and Michelle Williams' series (she's also nominated) are nominated so we could get a nice of them together at the Emmys!
