About the Series

At once deeply observed and intriguingly elusive, THE AFFAIR explores the emotional effects of an extramarital relationship. Noah is a New York City schoolteacher and novelist who is happily married, but resents his dependence on his wealthy father-in-law. Alison is a young waitress trying to piece her life and marriage back together in the wake of a tragedy. Set in Montauk at the end of Long Island, the provocative drama unfolds separately from both the male and female perspectives, using the distinct memory biases of both to tell the story.

Where was Josh? I guess he wasn't in this episode or scene. Looks like it was Ruth's last day on set for this season.

Well, I just watched E8.

Cole and Noah is the pairing I didn't know I wanted.

And that's all I'm going to say about the episode until others get a chance to see. it.

I'm going to watch it again tonight.

Noah, Cole and Anton as a happy gay family. Cole being the brooding hubby was hilarious. Too bad it ended in tragedy. I don't think Anton is going to make it to Princeton, and I hope that girl he slept with is not pregnant.

That was a pretty good panel. I wish there was more and I wish they would repeat the questions the audience asked, so we knew what they were responding to. They only did that once.
