I get to work on an application installation tomorrow that starts at 11am and won't be completely finished until 6am Sunday morning. I won't be working the entire time, but since I don't know exactly when I'll be needed, I cannot go anywhere or do anything that takes me far from my computer for more than a few minutes.

All these up and downs with the weather will wreck absolute havoc on tree crops for this year. I'm worried about that.

Oh my gosh that does not sound fun. I mean, I love staying around my computer but I would not want to be on call for that long.

I love old TV shows that I can just pick any episode at random and enjoy it. The X-Files is like that for me, so is Star Trek: Enterprise and JAG and Stargate - both the original and Atlantis. I've been doing a smorgasbord of rewatching today and really enjoying it.

I love shows like that too. I'm almost done rewatching Friends again, it's been good background while I write.

Took the BF to the doctor today. He officially has the flu. Makes me wonder if that's what I had, despite getting a flu shot. I know I haven't been that sick in a very long time.

Today I got to see a friend of mine that I haven't seen in about 18 months. We were best friends from 7th grade through to the end of high school (even though we were at different schools in 9th-12th) and we're still the kind of friends where we can just drop back into conversation likes no time has passed. She lives in Maryland now, and I've been in Kentucky, and this week we're both in Michigan at the same time, so that's nice.

I also wrote and published some Leonard/Penny (TBBT) smut last night. I haven't written a new oneshot for that fandom in over a year and I'd never attempted smut outside of Scorpion (though I have written for three different dynamics in this fandom) so that was a fun challenge that I was proud of.

We might have temps in the 70s this weekend. I might have to try and go out and enjoy some of that.

Oooh nice. I'm going riding tomorrow then Sunday I'm visiting a friend who I've stayed in regular contact with but haven't actually seen in several years due to me moving and her having temp work in another field.
