^ Right? I know Katherine was an expect at getting herself out of sticky situations, but I just can't believe that Klaus had no idea where she was at all times. He was always three steps ahead of everyone, so how was it possible that she evaded him for centuries?

To me it felt like he was MIA for a good amount of time

at some point at least considering he had to take over Alaric than get his body

I've complerely forgotten if there were a reason that Klaus body-swapped Alaric's body, or if he just wanted to move around Mystic Falls undetected.

It does make the most sense, right? Klaus probably wanted to stay close to the Mystic Falls gang so that he knew what they knew, but he didn't want to be so close that they suspected that he was nearby. Alaric was the perfect person to do that.

can't remember exactly or didn't take long for Alaric to make a move while in Alaric's body

^ That's how I remember it as well. Klaus may have done a good job of pretending to be Alaric, he probably did or said something that clued the Mystic Falls gang in his true personality. It does make me wonder how much time Klaus spent observing him before he took over his body.

I could tell you one thing, I never probably would've cared for Klaus if Joseph didn't take over the role. lol I just wanted him quickly dead when Matt was portraying Klaus.

^ Yeah. Plenty of viewers have expressed that thought. =p I'm so happy TPTB chose Joseph to portray Klaus, because he definitely made us care about the character.

He was my favorite character in TVD. I honestly stopped watching the show when he left for The Originals. He’s the best

I feel the same way. I wouldn't have watched The Originals if he hadn't been part of it.

I think plenty of viewers stopped watching after he left.

I have my issues with TO, but Joseph really is an amazing actor and he totally deserved his own show, instead of continuing being a secondary character in TVD.
