^ I didn't realize your post was dated right after episode 5x05. I remember the moment in episode 5x04 where Klaus was chained up in a coffin while he was talking to Marcel. I may not remember specifics but I got a touch of eerie there. I thought that that's what you were talking about.

It was interesting throughout the time we've seen Klaus - like Caroline said - he's really grown and became a complex layered character

Different from 2nd season TVD until now which is what 20 Years of "real life" cause of the time jumps

^ Oh, yes. I really love that he has grown and changed throughout his journey on The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. I do love complex, layered, misunderstood characters, and Klaus definitely fits in that category.

Oh, yes. Even though he's an immortal and time doesn't mean anything to him, I've enjoyed the fact that we've seen his growth as he's experienced ups and downs during this 20 year journey that we've gotten a chance to see.

^ Oh, yes. She was broken. And most of the time, I've seen how broken Klaus is. I just hope he finds some peace by the end of the series ...kind of like how Kara found peace in the end.

^ That's always a plus. My one wish was that Klaus would find peace at the end of the series, like Kara did, and that's exactly what happened. They both ended up finding peace in the same way.
