I finally got my bike fixed late July. Was so stoked and rode it a few times before the tire went flat again. Had my friend take the tire back for repair - it had been a defective tube. Have had the repaired tire back for well over a month now but still haven't put it back on my bike.

But I went to the gym 5 times this last week. That's a record for me. And I'm so tired. Can hardly believe I've become this person who regularly goes to the gym. But I still haven't lost any weight. Probably because I'm still eating whatever the hell I want. Years ago when I went to a gym regularly - but the workouts weren't nearly as intense - I had this mantra "I go to the gym for a reason" which would prevent me from buying certain foods. I may need to start saying that to myself again.

Five times, Kenni? I only go once a week and even then, I skip some weeks. And yup, it doesn't really work until you control your food intake and work out too ... which is why I fail because I'll lose 200 calories but then binge on fast food afterwards because working out makes me hungry. #fail

Exhausting week. I have to fly to another state tomorrow for a meeting but at least I'll be home earlier ... cannot wait to sleep in this weekend before another crazy week starts again.

Yup, it's a requirement in my job ... but it's an island and I got to eat good food there, so it's not too shabby.

I know. I have to work over the weekend, and next week looks maddening as well.

Happens to me too. I try to eat carbs after workout but I don't always succeed.

Kenni, remember that even though you burn fat, you're gaining muscle weight, so your overall weight might stay the same but you'll look thinner.

The responses though. People (some of whom are admitting that they aren't fans, so probably wouldn't even watch a movie based on his books) letting him know they are going to boycott the movie and that he's going to regret this. The movie made over 600M worldwide, that boycott went well I see.
