About the Series

At once deeply observed and intriguingly elusive, THE AFFAIR explores the emotional effects of an extramarital relationship. Noah is a New York City schoolteacher and novelist who is happily married, but resents his dependence on his wealthy father-in-law. Alison is a young waitress trying to piece her life and marriage back together in the wake of a tragedy. Set in Montauk at the end of Long Island, the provocative drama unfolds separately from both the male and female perspectives, using the distinct memory biases of both to tell the story.

Maybe we'll finally get some real spoilers.

JJH85 02-26-2018 11:42 AM

That would be nice. I still enjoy the speculation though because it gets the conversation going.

Hopefully there will be lots of snippets coming out to whet our appetites before the season starts.

Your Welcome - lets hope there's a lot to put in it!

Something should be starting soon or at least by April/May.

I've seen articles that Ruth has done recently but they are about other projects, not The Affair. I think she is a bit sick of doing 'Affair stuff' as they always ask her about The Sex scenes and I don't think she likes to talk about that side of things. She is more into the character side of a role rather than the 'action' side.

You know people in their late 30s/ early 40s are responsible for @SHO_TheAffair because every time we have a music cue, we’re like “what about Pearl Jam? No? Soundgarden?”

Sandy K 03-02-2018 06:13 AM

What, no Tori Amos?

Unfortunately some of us are too old to have heard of those people/groups? What about some seventies glam rock or prog rock.

You guys have reached a subject I'm not too familiar with. I'm terrible with anything regarding music. I've never hear of Tori Amos.
