Yes its the same cousin.She was on TVD for one episode as Nina's double.So she knows Ian. But her "from the Nikolova family" implies that the rest of the family would send him best wishes as well.

Nina's cousin is married if I recall, there was a pic from Much Music I think with her and her husband. I think Ian met them both so that's the tweet including her family.

I don't think that she is married.She has a boyfriend and Nikolova is the female version of the name.Its hard to explain how cyrilic last names are formed.

Ian hasn't even been on today (well, since early AM) and only Julie Plec and Malese Jow have said anything in regards to cast and crew).

It would be cute...but not the end of the world if we don't get anything today. Still a lot of time in the day. They are probably busy working.
