Last spring, we watched as their partnership on the popular reality television show Dancing With The Stars turned into an off-camera romance. A year later and they're still going strong. Because I saw their relationship grow into something so sweet and caring and they always seem to have so much fun together! They reminded me of myself and my hubby when we first met! I also think they are both such down to earth people who truly care about others not to mention all the wonderful talent they both have!! Shannon and Derek are such a great couple because they seem to have so much fun together and love life as well as each other. They put each other first and are very supportive of one another. I think they just "get" each other.~roygbib

Their chemistry was undeniable . . . and as they were bashed by the DWTS judges & shown in a negative light by the producers, we began to root for them. They manage to maintain their relationship while juggling busy, demanding careers, but the love & support they have for one another remains constant. Obviously, we don't know them, but it's fun to keep track of them as a couple & to follow their individual endeavors. Who knew that in addition to dancing we'd be following poker & BHB? I think the main reason I ship Derek Hough and Shannon Elizabeth is they seem like real people, who found eachother doing the crazy show of Dancing With The Stars. Shannon is an amazing person, and a hero to me, she's given so much to be with Derek, and Derek is such a sweet guy, and Shannon truly brings out the best in him. I love Shannon and Derek because of their genuine care for each other. A perfect example of this is the VW rehearsals. Derek had hurt his neck while rehearsing with Julianne for a result show performance. Shannon was so concerned for him and felt like he wasn’t following the doctors orders. She even said that she would drop out of the competition so he could heal properly. I thought that was one of the sweetest things ever. Even to this day, they continue to not only show their care for each other, but also their support, commitment, and love for one another. It’s been a joy to follow their relationship and watch them grow as a couple, and I wish them the best of luck in the future.~gabegirl45

Thanks Carmen for starting a new thread and putting me down as honorary Shipper. I love the new picture of the moment!. Did you have to take any pics away and if so which one? I scrolled down to look at the pics and I just love that poker picture of Derek leaning back in the chair smiling at Shannon If that isn't HIS "in love" look than I don't know what is. LOL
So Shannon went to the Olive Garden too? Did she tweet? good! I like them spending as much time together as possible. DWTS will be here before you know it .

danzfan We know S/D were at Monets so when D tweet he was at Olive Garden I guess everyone assumes they are together What we don;t know is were they at Monets before or after Olive Garden.

They interact so well together that a commercial would be a piece of cake for them. Seeing them in a Target commercial would make me want to shop there.

I do think they actually forgot something but I wonder if any paps are lurking tonight. I would never say no to more pictures.

I can soooo see a Target commercial featuring these two. We need to Tweet Target now!!

The paps are lurking just up the street & around the corner @ the Grove. I'm assuming this is the West Hollywood Target.....paps are not far away.
