Reasons why we love Derek/Shannon:
Because when he first met her, his first thought was how gorgeous she was.
Because they hugged the very first time they met.
Because he's determined to have her be one of the beautiful girls who could go all the way.

Because when she thought she could've done better on her first dance because she felt like she'd messed up a lot, he let her know just how professional she was.
Because he didn't notice any of her mistakes.

Because he created the 'Derek and Shannon' rap.
Because when she called him a dork, he agreed with her.
Because it never ceases to amaze him just how hard on herself she is.
Because when she let Len know she'd keep the skirt's short and straigthen her legs, Derek gave the cutest face plus a thumbs up.
Because he lets her know she never let him down.
Because he helped her with her cardio.
Because they're always smiling when they're together.
Because Carrie Ann lInaba oves to watch them, 'cause they're never boring.
Because he teaches her the best choreography, even the judges admit it.

Because Len thought their Quickstep was the best dance of the night so far.
Because she felt amazing after their Quickstep.
Because they work really hard together.
Because she said he was a great teacher and choreographer.
Because they just go out there and have fun together.
Because Samantha Harris said it looked like they were in fact having fun out there and that it was infectious in the back as well.
Because he's always trying to convince her, she's amazing just as she is.
Because he said she proved she was a ballroom dancer, all the way.
Because he calls her 'baby.'
Because they goof around together.
Because she went 'ohhh' when he fell out of his chair, out of concern for him.
Because the second time he sang the 'Derek and Shannon' rap she joined in.
Because when he asked for a beat she gave him one.
Because he's so phat.
Because she laughs with him, not at him.
Because she likes his geeky charm.
Because she wanted to stay and have fun.
Because her dog Minnie is their mascot.
Because she thinks this guy Derek Hough can be really cool.
Because during the first elimination round they were the first ones called finding out they were safe to go onto the next round.
Because when she equated the Jive with kickboxing, he made it easier for her to learn, but having her practice with a punching-pag.
Because she knocked him around the ring a little bit and liked it.
Because when she needed to sit down to catch her breath after their Jive, he sat right down on the floor with her.
Because they layed back on the floor together.
Because even though their Jive was the hardest dance he'd taught her at that point and she was terrified, she just went out there and had fun.
Because he likes being beaten around a little bit by her.
Because he said being kicked in the face by her was okay.
Because they're having a blast!
Because she doesn't want to leave his little face.
Because hopefully as she gets better, it'll feel easier and sink in, he agreed hopefully.
Because the nerves might go away a little bit, he agreed possibly.
Because she let him know she totally threw up in her mouth a little and he let her know that was gross, really gross. (lol)
Because he believes she deserves to have her confidence boosted.
Because he's excited to stay in the competition with her.
Because he said she's gonna get better and better each week.
Because he said the confidence that came with their Jive better have boosted her confidence.
Because they joked around about her being the one to injury his neck due to her kickboxing.
Because she tried to go to the hospital with him after he got injured, even though they didn't let her.
Because he asked her to just make sure his fly was up as he was being rolled away on the gurney. (lol)
Because when he got injured and was being carried away on the gurney, she was right by his side.
Because when he reached out for her hand, she held it.
Because she kissed him sweetly on the cheek.
Because as he was being lifted into the ambulance, she watched with tears in her eyes.
Because it was really scary for her to see him hurt.
Because they're partners.
Because they've become really close.
Because she was really concerned that he might not be okay.
Because when she walked into the studio and saw him after his injury, the first thing she asked him was if he was okay and how he was doing.
Because he thought it was frustrating how he'd choreographed their dance, but had to sit out due to recovery.
Because it was hard to keep him in his chair and not dance with her.
Because when they started rehearsing and he seemed hurt, she immediately asked him how he was.
Because it was hard for her to concetrate on the dance because she didn't think he was following doctor's orders.
Because she was more concerned about him being okay, than their Waltz.
Because she thought he should sit down for a bit and when he protested, she made sure he did anyways.

Because even though he was still in pain, he was concerned about letting her down.
Because she didn't want him to hurt himself all over again.

Because Bruno Tonioli told her how she became more than just the 'hot babe' during her Waltz, but was elegant.
Because Bruno said their Waltz was like two young lovers meeting each other on the scented meadow.
Because Bruno said their Walz was like spring.
Because Carrie Ann noticed something was definitely happening between them.
Because after she got her compliment from Carrie Ann, he whispered 'good job, baby' in her ear.
Because Len (keeping things short and sweet), said their Waltz was the best dance he'd seen that night.
Because even after all the amazing comments by the judges, she still wished she could have done her Waltz again having jokingly threating to slap her again.
Because he thinks she's amazing.
Because he couldn't be any happier.
Because he was really, really happy the night of their Waltz.
Because when asked about what it was like working with a different partner, she said he was amazing, but when Derek playfully looked offended, she pulled him in for a hug and let us know she would never get rid of her boy.

Because they scored the first 10 from Len of the season.

Because when he said they had to keep things legit and professional, Mel B. didn't believe them.

Because when she asked him what the Samba was like and he described it, her interpretation of it being a 'party in your pants' made him laugh.
Because Mark Ballas said Derek's neck injury was cured by the touch of Shannon.
Because his best friend Mark sees something between them.
Because they spent three minutes interviewing each other.
Because they're constantly flirting with each other.
Because when he found out she was his partner he skipped down the road with rainbows and butterflies.

Because she didn't think she'd have to get a new partner after he got hurt 'cause she knew he'd do anything to get back out there with her.
Because she was telling the truth when she said she'd rather him recover than push himself just because she thought that's what he wanted.

I know right! I adore these two! I've been rooting for Derek/Shannon and Mark/Kristi this season. But there's just something about DS that kills me, and tonight just cemented it. Their dance was so friggin' romantic and their ending almost kiss, wow!

She was so incredible with him when he got injured.

I love these two

They are my second favorite couple this season and I love them together.
Their waltz was beautiful and amazing, and the almost kiss at the end was hott.
I also loved how Shannon was right by Dereks side for the whole injury thing, and she was looking out for him. Thats true love right there

Shannon is an amazing dancer and Derek is an amazing teacher.
Oh and I think they at least deserved two tens for that wonderful dance

I am rooting for a Kristi and Mark and Shannon and Derek finale, because they are my top 2 couples
