Good morning all! So glad it's Friday. We have a lot to look forward to in the next few days.....McDonalds show on Sunday, Ellen on Monday and then DWTS semi finals!!!!

I would hope for a Shannon citing on Monday, but looks like she's really trying to stay out of the way to let Derek and Brooke have their moments on the show. She's smart. She knows there are those out there who don't like her or her and Derek together. But we all know how perfect they are together. I'm sure their holidays together will be fantastic!

I too have been watching J/D's jive over and over. I'm obsessed!

i dont know what we will do w/o DWTS..guesss that never stopped us before...lol !! .... i think derek had his hair cut and colored too..he looked extra yummy the other night...

i could see that....sitting around the shop ...color piled up on top of their heads

Good Morning Everyone! We are in a real dry spell for news of our couple lately. So I found this old article from TV Grapevine that has a mention of S/D. It was really sweet and one of the first outside confirmations that they were together.
The relevant text is below but here's a link if anyone is interested in the whole article.

Dancing With The Stars 6: The VIP Edition

With the glitches in the pre-tapings, we were running very behind for the live show. They didn't even have time to get all of the floor cleaned before the couples had to come out for the first segment. During this few minutes, I was able to speak with Tom Bergeron just briefly, and I have to tell you guys, he is one of the sweetest, most genuine people I've ever met. The funny man you see on tv is not just an act, either. He ad-libs jokes like the ones we hear every week as easily as the pro dancers glide across the floor. Speaking of pro dancers, Derek Hough was there for one of Usher's numbers, and Shannon Elizabeth was there with him. From our seats, we could see the area that partitions off the backstage room, and there is a space where dancers or others that are backstage can duck out behind the audience and watch a performance. This area is where we saw Shannon and Derek, she was never out with the crowd during the pre-tapings or the show. It looks like they are very much the couple, by the way. Since this was not something done for the show, but a private time between them, it looks like their closeness is the real deal, and she looked very happy.

So - all of our searching for Shannon in the audience may be fruitless as she could very well be backstage. ITA--Would think there's a good chance Shannon is backstage for the shows whenever possible. It seems to be kind of tough since it's not supposed to even be about Derek, but Brooke, so any focus on S/D would not be appropriate. As a former cast member she would have every right to be front & center like Marissa or Mark Cuban, but her relationship with Derek also puts her in the category of friends/family of the pros (whom are almost never shown in the audience). I wonder if maybe we'll see her sitting with other former cast members if B/D make the finals.
