In Seminar, according to the producers, "four aspiring young novelists (including Ms. Rabe and Mr. Linklater) sign up for private writing classes with Leonard (Mr. Rickman), an international literary figure. Under his recklessly brilliant and unorthodox instruction, some thrive and others flounder, alliances are made and broken, sex is used as a weapon and hearts are unmoored. The wordplay is not the only thing that turns vicious as innocence collides with experience in this biting new comedy."

The play's producers are Jeffrey Finn, Jill Furman, John N. Hart Jr., Patrick Milling Smith and Roy Furman.

Final casting will be announced in the coming weeks.

I definitely did like him from the books & the movies. I didn't think he was the Half Blood Prince and in that book, I wouldn't even think he'd have a thing for Lily so he's a very complicated character.

Love this tribute to Alan on this site.
