heartღaflutter 09-18-2007 09:08 AM

I assume it's going to be a show for the next TV season.. I wonder if it's an ensemble show or if she's going to be one of the main characters again.

agiepagie07 09-18-2007 09:16 AM

i hope her character keeps the same lorelai tone, and not ditzy like her characters when she first started out.

Thanks for the new thread, shinystar

I Heart TV: Your Ultimate Companion to 100 Essential Shows

Matt Webb Mitovich of TVGuide wrote 0n Sept. 12:

Essential Shows: Is TV Guide's Heart in the Right Place?

I'm published, I'm published! Well, me and 42 other TV Guide scribes. Landing in bookstores this month is I Heart TV: Your Ultimate Guide to 100 Essential Shows (shop amazon.com). In the book's introduction, our Matt Roush writes, "There was plenty of healthy debate about what to include in this roster of 100 enduring classics.... Back in the day, there weren't message boards or Internet fan sites to feed our obsessions. But if you think the intensity of Twilight Zone fans was any less than that exhibited by more modern followers of The X-Files or the new Battlestar Galactica, you're seriously mistaken."

No, Hello, Larry didn't make the cut, but 24 and Happy Days did, and I single out those two if only because yours truly wrote their respective odes. (I'd cite specific page numbers, but I am not quite that whorish.)

Here is the complete list. Tell us what you think:

Great Lauren news! I'm excited to see what happens because of it.

lancer1993 09-18-2007 04:02 PM

Thanks for the great Lauren news, can't wait to see what she ends up doing, maybe she'll GS on some NBC shows before the end of the season! :D

maplezbear 09-18-2007 06:32 PM

Thanks for the new thread.

Thanks for bringing that over gjoni

Yeah! Great news about Lauren. I'm so happy she's coming back to TV. I know there will never be another GG, but I hope they come up with something fantastic for her. (And sadly, I'm more excited for that show than for any new shows I know about so far for this season.)

Great that Gilmore Girls made the list ;)

I thought the deal was that she would get a new project created around Lauren. I think we have to wait another TV season.

Nadine said there is a chance of Lauren being in some NBC show before her new one, but it's any ones guess right now.

heartღaflutter 09-20-2007 03:58 PM

I wouldn't mind her being on another show.. Wouldn't it be fun if she guested on Heroes  or The Office, with Steve Carell :)

maplezbear 09-20-2007 06:55 PM

If Lauren might guest star on an NBC show, I'd like to see her on Scrubs :look:
