| So recently The Great8Mandate at gg.org and the wonderful Fanforum users that go to the Save GG thread have been working together to get the show back. With all the Jericho buzz going around from their campaign, we thought we should starting getting a bit of the attention back that we use to have ourselves so that people don't just think we gave up because the shows "Series" finale aired. The Mandate and the FF users are currently working on a 'Save Gilmore Girls' website cause we found that alot of people are intimidated by The Great8Mandate and it's fast moving thread. There just isn't enough room on that tiny little thread for all the project we have going on and it is really hard to get people interested in taking part in our current projects when they can't find out what the current project is so we (we being Heidi aka The Mandate creator and our fellow Fanforum member Yvonne [pinkpaisley]) are going to create a website that will be easy and managable without having to sift through hundreds of pages. While we wait on the website to be created, we encourage you go check out the Mandate for updates. Rob (shutuprob) posts regular and long updates on almost every page so that everyone can find the current projects as easy as possible. I suggest you read through that update (called Operation: Daisy Duke) and do everything you can to take part in anything mentioned in it. I also suggest you read anything Rob posts cause he is very enlightening and has helped the Mandate immensely. He organizing projects, updates everyone, enlightens everyone on current news and sometimes just keeps everyones spirts high when feeling down after some horrible news.
Ok so my main reason for coming here is to post a petition link. Jericho started a petition and got over 113959 signatures...today they got their show renewed for 7 (and possibly more) episodes with help from not only that petition but also the multiple websites they created to save their show plus the nuts they sent (it was a similar project to our Daisy project. Find more about it at the 'Save GG' thread), so in attempt to follow in a victorious efforts footsteps (not copying), the Mandate has created a petition. It was created today and already has over 20 signatures so please lets keep that up! Sign it and pass it on along with the news that Gilmore Girls fans have not given up on the show! Lets break that 113959 signature Jericho record! Lets show The CW, the leading girls and all other non-S8 believers what we are made of and lets get our show back!
