^ Correct. EPs would probably still have control but having the creator on-board is good rather than not having him on-board at all.

I think so too Lindsay. His input will hopefully keep them from deviating too far away from his vision

And as the show is based on the comics, some fans are already familiar with the characters and storylines so there are certain expectations.

Yeah the comic fans definitely have expectations that the show runners should try to meet if they can.

I came in blind watching this though. I wasn't too thrilled with the 1st two eps but somehow by ep 3, it finally made me interested.

Yeah I had idea what to expect either and it took me about that long to be able to get into it as well. It was smart of them to release the first 3 eps at the same time.

I guess they did that to gauge how the audience will react? And then by the time they released new eps every week, I've been reading how some fans wanted them to release all the eps right away already.

Same plus I really prefer binge-watching because I like the flow of the story more when I get to watch all the eps at once. The only problem with binge-watching is we don't get to discuss every ep and will only remember the eps that we enjoyed.

I also like being to watch the eps without long breaks in the story. It helps me stay focused and remember where everything is in the storyline. The only downfall is that I can't remember which things happened in which ep sometimes because all the eps blend together into one giant ep for me.

Exactly. If we get new eps right away, at least we can discuss but the one week break makes you already forget the latest episode as well and of course, this isn't the only show we watch.

exactly
I am so curious to see how closely they follow the comics next season. We have already had some major changes in season one so I think we'll be getting more deviations next season. |

Yeah, I think comic fans will most likely pinpoint which SLs they followed and changed for next season now that they have ran away. I actually want to read up but I still don't want to and just enjoy going into this blind.

I am going to enjoy going in being blind. I don't want any of the changes to ruin the show for me if I think the comics were better.

I also kind of want to read up a bit but I'll control myself. It's better if I don't know a thing.
