I'll at least fake being proud of him when he can get his OPS+ higher than 43.
I don't think I'm ready for how awful tonight may end up. Edit: Okay, it was awful, but since Hughes' stuff looked massively better than it had, I'm not worried. **** happens, we'll move on fine. Last edited by -Bianca-; 04-13-2008 at 07:01 PM |

Yeah, last night was pretty bad. But Hughes' stuff did look a lot better.
I was more frustrated with the fact that we didn't make Matsuzaka pay when we had the chance early on (I didn't watch the later innings, I had to work nightshift last night). But I'm not worried. Hopefully in enough time for the game Friday night to be a good one since I'll be there __________________

Finally a win and higher scores, now we're getting somewhere.

I'm hoping the last two games are a sign of the offense moving past the insanely frustrating state it's been since the season started.
I still loathe Mo's contract, but still, |

I'm just glad they are winning again, it's exhausting watching them play and loose every game. I like them winniing and hope they win alot more the loose.
They are playing Florida so i think after they win today they will be winnning more often. __________________

Well, we weren't really losing everyday. We're much, much better off this year so far than we were last.
I really need some NL or non-AL East team to show Manny Ramirez the money this offseason in FA. We need a reprieve. |

I just want to get out of this hellish April at .500.
OAN, they're clearly trying to change Hughes mechanics back to where they were in 2006. They did a split screen tonight for some reason of a past game and he's way quicker now than he has been. They honestly should have just ****ing left him alone in the first place. Sorry the game sucked, Ella. |

Wow, the only good thing about tonight was seeing Edwar get a few outs. He didn't look perfect but he did the job. I got the O's broadcast so I didn't hear anything about Phil's mechanics. It sucks that they messed with them. __________________

Well, they didn't talk about it. They just showed some footage from another game for some reason inset and after reading 10,000,000 world wide web pitching gurus talking about the differences over the last year, I noticed it myself right away.
They should give Ensberg a chance at 1B. Commit to him for a week or so, see what he can do after how he's looked so far this year in limited exposure. We can always go back to Giambi, but we can't keep running him out there without knowing for sure whether there's a more productive option available to us or not first. |

Let's get out of April and have a fresh start in May. This loosing isn't good if they want to get into the playoffs and not loose again.

Offense, where art thou? Ugh.
Ross Ohlendorf is going to have his arm fall off if they don't call up a legit long reliever soon. |

Darn, they've hit a bump. No hitting, poor pitching.
I hope Ross doesn't have to become the next Proctor. It's always bizarre when Jorge plays first but he had a nice game, made a few nice plays. It was nice to have Joba back, I'm so happy his dad is doing better. BTW, that 3 day suspension for Farns is stupid as heck! I still can't believe it, no wonder Joe was so upset. __________________
