Girardi looked gray yesterday! I felt bad for him, but his fever had broken so maybe he felt better overall, but he looked pasty and sick.
I do admit I'm loving winning low scoring games. This is something the team wasn't able to do in the past couple of years. __________________

  Today was not a day to inspire confidence in Hughes starting the Sunday night game in Fenway either. |

That was an ugly game. I can't believe the Royals didn't score 20 runs. The Yanks are getting hits, at least Bobby, Johnny and Matz have been hitting the ball, but when it counts, the ball can't find a hole.

Jorge is playing terrible. He should take the time off.
Royals 2 outs away from winning 4-0. I actually blame the offense. 4 runs in this terrible conditions, with the BP starting the game? A few timely hits would've kept us in there. __________________

I didn't know he was leading the league, though. How cool!  Oh totally. He was poised, making pitches, didn't walk anybody. He was in fine form. Beautiful 2 hitter. He could def make it 20 this year! __________________

Sadly, Derek isn't playing today. At least Alberto Gonzalez looks good out there in the mean time.
 I'm so happy Jason hit his first homer. He hit the ball hard a few times and I'm happy he has something to show for it! __________________

I was so proud of Jason he has been trying so hard to hit a homer and finally did.
Very glad he did because we needed that homer.OT: Let's not have rain today and finish the game when it's supposed to end. __________________
