also, its football season. they really should end baseball season a bit sooner because of that

although baseball season does remind people of warmer days, even when its clearly 'not warm' anymore

Well, it depends on what you define as ''warm''. On the East Coast perhaps it's not so warm lately there, but here on the West Coast we've had an unusually dry & warm October. It's apparently going to cool off in most of Oregon & Washington next week though.

Anyway, I didn't see a ton of the Astros/Red Sox game yesterday, but I do still hope that the Brewers win their current series. I feel bad for Astros fans. Their team had such an incredible year & then they lose 3 consecutive games at home in the A.L.C.S. I know that the Red Sox are a terrific team as well, but that is just disappointing.

I've always identified the baseball postseason with Fall/weather cooling down

and the World Series with Halloween

with the baseball season ending/cooling off so does the weather

where I'm from though in October we have what we call an Indian summer

hoping the Brewers win the NLCS as well

I love that the Red Sox have won all their road games so far and am pleasantly surprised with how their pitching has held up, even with all its heart attacks. In spite of this or that, they did win 108 games. They had to have been doing something right.

I'm rooting for the Brewers in the NL too, it would be nice for them and I have nothing against them. The only time I can only root for the Dodgers is against the Yankees.

Yeah. At this point I don't think it would be surprising if the Red Sox swept the Dodgers this year. L.A. of course needs to win today otherwise they'll have to get 4 of 5 games vs. Boston & that's not likely to happen. Disappointing performance by Kershaw yesterday.

LA being back home should make a difference. At least the Highest paid picture on the Red Sox, is finally coming through in the playoffs. David price , plus the mgr is pulling him after 5 /6 innings with a lead.
I do not usually watch Baseball, games are too long reg season 3 hrs Playoffs 4 hrs . I was a big fan .. , I ll watch the championship games ..
