Congrats to the Astros on winning the World Series. It was a great series by both the Astros and Dodgers.

Well it would've started off better had the Jays won a game this series vs. the Yankees. Oh well. They do still have a chance tomorrow. The Mariners already gave up 4 runs in the 1st inning today vs. Cleveland. Might watch some games tomorrow.

Thanks for posting those clips. This has been such a disappointing season for the Jays & Josh Donaldson is on the 10 day DL. The M's though I think will break their playoff drought this year I think even with Cano suspended.
Anyway here's some more news here locally on Portland getting an MLB team. The only minor league team in this area are the Hillsboro Hops that play more than 25 miles away from me, though it's only I think 15 miles away from Portland. The Hops are an affiliate of the D'Backs. Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, Ciara invest in venture to bring MLB to Portland __________________

So you probably know that the Marlins have had a rough year thus far & well they tend to not get high attendance for their games, but it has gotten sadly worse this year. In fact The Marlins AA team called ''Jumbo Shrimp'' has actually outdrawn them for at least some home games this year. Here's the story on that. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/m...711-story.html They had a record low attendance vs. Milwaukee of 5,265 fans at yesterday's game. Well if Miami doesn't want a baseball team. We do here in Portland, though unsure how many want the Marlins here. Enjoy the All Star Break guys. __________________
