Cleveland is a terrific team. Now the Brewers have a 1-0 lead vs. St. Louis currently in their game on ESPN. They are a half game above the Cubs & have a series vs. Detroit over the weekend. Good fortune there if they take advantage of it.

Cute pic of that bear. Yeah. I hope it's either Colorado or Milwaukee in the World Series out of the N.L. this year. That was some game yesterday between Colorado & the Chicago Cubs. I think the Rockies had the bases loaded in the inning before they went up 2-1 & a hitter swung at the first pitch & popped up & got out. Don't understand why batters do that. I mean the Rockies did have more baserunners yesterday than the Cubs & I think if they were more patient they'd have ended that game sooner, but pitching was incredible by both teams no doubt.

Yeah. Poor A's fans. Their team just can't win in the playoffs anymore. That's too bad. I will point out that Oakland for some reason started Liam Hendricks & I was watching ''High Heat'' on MLB Network today & Chris Russo today & he didn't understand why they started him or their logic in playing so many pitchers in the game. On the 9th pitch of Liam Hendricks yesterday, he gave up a 2 run homer to Judge & that was the ballgame. The A's didn't recover from it. Wow. I didn't want the Yankees to win, but if I was a fan the Oakland A's right now I'd be pissed.

Boy, these playoffs have been quite disappointing I think. Noncompetitive games for the most part & what was up with that blowout in game 3 by the Red Sox over the Yankees? Just brutal. The Rockies & Indians might as well not have showed up also. At least the Braves won a game in their series. Oh well. I do expect it to be Houston vs. Milwaukee in the World Series at this time.

I expect this round to be more competitive. I think the losers in the last round were too outmatched, but I'm always happy when the Yankees lose.

Much as I'm rooting for the Red Sox, I honestly think Houston's better. They don't seem to have a real glaring weakness, unlike the Red Sox's bullpen that's unreliable at best.

It was a combination of being over-matched & in the Rockies case just not having an offence that showed up. The Rockies & Indians getting swept were most disappointing to me as I hoped to see them in the World Series this year.
