I think the fact that I can read stuff like that (or see pics like the Delphine/ketchup pic) and laugh show I'm doing much better now, right?
Gallows (or bullet) humor is your best friend.

What i don't understand is all the reviews saying that Delphine sacrificed herself for Cosima. How does her going to an empty parking garage and getting shot save Cosima? If the neolutionists are everywhere as Nealon says, then they will eventually get to the clones, if they haven't already. It makes no sense for her to volunteer herself to get shot. That is not heroic to me. That is plain stupid. If the neolutionists wanted to attack the clones at the dinner then they would have. I understand its a story, but adding drama when it doesn't make sense is frustrating.

This poster is brilliant. Where's the lie?

Oh man, it feels good to laugh again. The finale has broken my heart too much and this has made me feel a little better.

I'm back to feeling really depressed about it all again.

Well it wasn't as direct as Paul dying for Sarah, but essentially Delphine was shot because she turned down a position within neolution. Delphine chose not to betray Leda and Cosima again, she remained loyal and that's why she died. So to some degree she did sacrifice herself, but it wasn't as overt as her jumping in front of Cosima and taking a bullet for her. I do agree that it's stupid that she just gave up, but what could she do in the garage? She heard the footsteps turned round and there was nowhere left for her to go. Why she ever went back to Dyad is the stupid thing. But then Delphine might have had someone following her the moment she left Nealon who was waiting for her to be alone and isolated to shoot her. There was nothing she could do. The only thing would have been telling Cosima about the Nealon incident and then Cosima getting Mrs S to put Delphine in hiding, but I can imagine that Delphine might have thought she'd be putting clone club at immediate risk if she'd done that as Neolution would have gone after them right away.

I don't know it's stupid. They striped Delphine of all her power, she was physically and emotionally exhausted maybe she did just give up. I can't say I'd blame her after the **** that was thrown at her this season.

You can't tell me Delphine just casually went back to Dyad for no reason. She KNEW what was going to happen.

Yep. And I think she wanted it to be as far away from the Leda clones as possible. That way no one else would be a target. No one would get hurt trying to save her.

Delphine always has a plan. EBro in one of her interviews (I want to say it was during Wondercon table interviews) mentions this. So I'd like to think that she knew exactly what she was doing going back to Dyad.

I found myself wondering yesterday if that boarding school suicide story that GM said could be interpreted as being about Delphine herself was supposed to have meaning beyond the scene. Was it supposed to be a small hint of fatalism in her? Like, she didn't finish herself properly as a teen, but, dammit, as a woman she was going to turn around and take her bullet?

That's actually pretty sick, particularly in the context of a queer woman. Twice willing to give up and die?

The first and last GIF sets that are popping up in tumblr are murdering my soul. There shouldn't be lasts yet, there shouldn't be.

Plus I hate myself for how much I really like the last kiss. It's like I don't want to ****ing watch it, but I can't stop watching it.

I S2G she's the most selfless character on this damn show. She gave up everything over the course of the season, everything.

That's a horrible connection. Hopefully it's not what they were going for, I really hope not.

So Apt!

Finding it difficult to make any sort of worthwhile contribution, so I'll just offer my support. Delphine and Cosima were so wonderful together, but that's probably all gone now to never be replaced. Sorry TPTB the "alternative" doesn't come close, you've ****** up if you're wanting us to jump on that bandwagon. Something about sycophants pandering to overblown egos might be appropriate here, but that start me on a rant about sycophants, arrrghhhhhhhhh

I'll never get why they have to kill off great characters, it's been so done to death, no pun intended, that the shock value has all but disappeared, just lazy story telling! So much better to create an interesting/intriguing, "where, why, what" scenario, but that takes creative story telling and OB seems to have lost the plot a little there!

Actually, in terms of Delphine character taking the position within neolution would make great sense. She played the same game this season, I understand she was tired, but this was the best way to protect LEDA and collect some data.
But of course they coudn't write that because they needed to make it paintfully obvious to stupid clones and blind audience that she is in fact on their side. Also, there was no time to do that, because they killed her like... 10 minutes later?

I know, it IS such a beautiful scene, and the kiss Even though I'm really disappointed Cosima didn't notice something was wrong, I wonder if that was because maybe she thought things were getting better again, you know, she had finally understood Delphine's actions, she was finally able to apologize for being unfair, they kissed...I don't know what she thought, and probably never will, I know but the idea that she might've thought there was still a chance for them makes me a little happier.

I have to avert my eyes from all those first and last gifs, and I simply can't watch the gif of Delphine saying, "Give your sisters all my love." It is so heartbreaking. Cosima is the biggest idiot in the world for not reading that as neon-brite trouble. EBro was sooo good in that whole episode. Too bad I'll never be able to re-watch most of it.

Speaking of EBro...I'm still wondering why she said all those things about just because Cophine weren't together now, "it doesn't mean they'll never, ever be together again." What? That kiss? That's not together, that's agony. EBro!

I wonder how she's going to handle the constant begging for her to come back from fans? It actually depressed Amber Benson (Tara) after a while, really weighed down on her, because she got all the tears from personal interactions with fans. But she didn't have any control over the decision, really. There were no contract issues, Whedon just wanted to splatter Tara's blood on Willow (actual comment he made). She later made the choice not to play ghost Tara because she didn't want to help him torment fans more. He even said he may bring Tara back but wouldn't promise, so she declined even though she needed work.

EBro is in an entirely different position, though. Other than Twitter she can bubble herself away from it more because she doesn't really do cons. She also presumably has a little more say, if any of the scheduling stories are true (which will NEVER excuse the writers' decision to kill her).

All I know is that it's going to be a long-ass hiatus for her on social media. And it will start all over again if the cliffhanger finishes Delphine off.
