OK, time to revive this thread
Not really comparing YA to a show but to this book series that I read The Mortal Instruments which had quite a few things in it that reminded me of YA, and no I wont say what things cause they're like spoilers so you're just gonna have to read the books to find out
You can start with book one: City of Bones

Okay. Adds The Mortal Instruments to my booklist. The title already intrigued me, so I might just buy a hard copy on whim

The Mortal Instruments? the one written by Cassandra Clare, right? hmmmm...I've read the plot, seems nothing like YA...now you got me curious, definitely will read the books now...

Oh my, it's written by Cassandra Claire? Nicky always used to tell me how amazing Cassandra's Harry Potter fanfics were.

So we're both "free" after Thursday?

On another note, I sort of rewatched parts of Veronica Mars season 1, and Veronica/Duncan reminded me of Bella/Scout again.

Yup, both free after thursday

Oh Veronica Mars, still havent aired the second season here but Duncan and Veronica are definately like Bella and Scout though you know they dont really have them pining over each other when they think/find out they're related cause you know Veronica is so obviously meant to be with Logan
