Not really close, but still cute. He mistakes her for a guy, and she doesn't correct him because he offers her a job as a guy and she really needs money... But it's good all the same! Plus, he's 29 and she's 24, so they're a bit older than Jake and Ham... And Kate makes a much prettier guy...

I think the only thing Ive ever seen with a girl dressing up as a boy is probobley Pitch Black and well the story doesnt really have much in common with YA!

However cause they recently aired the first season of Veronica Mars there were a few similarityes with the whole Duncan and Veronica might have been related storyline.

You're right, I hadn't even thought of that! I didn't watch all of season 1, but I do remember that.

I was rooting for them to get together, just like with Bella/Scout in the beginning.

I was shipping Logan from the very start, love the bad boy characters.

Yeah they found out, but I havent seen season 2 yet so I dont know what they decided to do with that information.
Duncan was drunk and slept with her, after he broke up with her cause he thought they were related.

I watched She the Man a while ago and I came to appreciate how much like a boy Jake actually looks cause dont get me wrong I love that movie (Channing Tatum

) And I love Amanda Bynes but in the movie she looks like a girl dressed up as a boy but Kate M looks like a boy in the scenes shes supposed to be a boy and looks like a girl when shes not supposed to be a boy

Yeah, I finally saw that one too. Amanda Bynes is a pretty girl, but her face looks rather plump when she dons the short wig. But yeah, her boy act isn't convincing, unless she was meant to be a 13 year old boy.

But Kate M totally looked like a boy when she was meant to look like a boy. It's so weird how well she pulled that off, especially if you go and look at pictures of Kate M like really girling it up for the camera...

Yeah I agree, shes a very pretty girl but the boy thing just looks weird, the eyebrows, the way she talks and walks and the wig, it was all wrong.

But Kate was perfect, her expressions her voice, the way she kept messing up her hair (which kind of reminded me of Harry from HP for some reason)

When Amanda Bynes' begins her boy act, for some reason her voice all of a sudden has this southern drawl that she didn't have as a girl, which I thought was weird.
