That's amazing, Lisa. So happy you got to experience this.
(even if I got no idea who those guys actually are) And hey, at least your gift was original. Have fun with the doors. __________________

That's what I don't like about concerts.
Would only go to concerts with fans that aren't screaming teenagers. So, who are they. Now that we're actually on the topic I want to know. __________________

Yeah I had to get used to the crowd, it was very mixed (in age) but the majority were younger than me. I was also very tall and basically in the front row, so I felt a little silly But I figured whatever, I do what I want.
They're a electro-pop band from the UK, I just adore them. They make fun music and the three of them are such dorks, so cute to watch in interviews. They are great with their fans...especially Olly the singer, who replies to them on Instagram and Twitter alot. Being back at work today sucks, and there are SO many gross smells coming from the kitchen __________________

Hey, if you wanna see those guys and don't care that you may be older than the average fan, why shouldn't you be there.
And the name? Maybe I'll look them up. Though electro-pop isn't my thing. Ooh... carful you don't really throw up. __________________

I was laughing when I was reading your post about how there were a bunch of screaming girls b/c I remember back in the day, I was one of those girls. I may or may not have squealed myself hoarse after a concert or two. I am so glad tomorrow is Friday. I need to not do anything this weekend and just relax (and not drink). __________________

Glad you were able to go to that concert Lisa and have a good time.
We just finished our last day at Disneyland. Four days of that place is exhausting I tell you what. Pretty sure my body hates me. Though I'm not as sore as I thought I'd be, but thanks to my sensitive skin I got heat rash on my legs. Oh the burn. So glad to be done with the park. And so glad I don't return to work till Monday. We had lots of fun. My sister and I brought our 10 year old niece, and she's such a ham. She posed for any silly pic we wanted to take. She joked about being terrified on Star Tours, which actually worried this woman who overheard her that the ride really is scary (FYI, totally not scary). And it was handy to have her run ahead and get in line for us at times when my sister and I just couldn't muster up as much energy. All in all - a great trip. And we got annual passes so there will probably be many weekend trips to come over the next year. I'm party excited about that and partly exhausted at the thought. |

That sounds awesome, though! But very tiring. I find going to amusement parks in general is a pretty exhausting experience
Yeah Amy - I wasn't much of a concert screamer/I'm not very loud general Even at 'nsync I'd manage only a few shaky sounding hollers On Monday I did a "whoo!" here and there to fit in I felt like a giant, the girls behind me were so short and I felt kind of bad, but when I looked over I saw other tall people...then I'm like "I waited in line too like a huge loser to get here first, so you can deal with it". Plus, I've been blocked at so many concerts that I felt kind of smug being the one doing the blocking for once Here's a video of me forcing garbage onto the lead singer, I thought it would be so funny but I'm actually embarrased about it now: Actually this one's not my video cause I can't get on youtube here...but if you watch, you'll see him go over and take a piece of paper from me. There's like an inside-ish joke about him/the band loving Babybels, so I handed him a Babybel label with my name signed on it and a note...like who does that I'll post mine after. __________________
