I don't even remember what happened to my Barbie dolls.

So when I moved in with my sister at 17 my mom had shipped boxes of my stuff. As my sister was opening my boxes and discovered Barbies she just looked at me and was like, "Really? You still play with these?" When I said I don't she decided I needed to get rid of them.

And in my mind simply getting to the gym is half the battle. It's why I'm glad I work an earlier shift at work so I can go the gym in the evenings after work. If my schedule required me getting up before work to get to the gym it probably wouldn't be happening. So much easier to talk myself out of going if I'm still snug in my bed. But if I'm already out for work I can usually get myself to the gym. It's why I've only made it on Saturday twice in the 3 and half months I've been going.

I'm not sure what happened to my barbies. I'll try and pop by more than every month... I've been a bit busy with my mother in the hospital and now in a rehab centre.

I gave all my barbies to my niece. I had like 100 when I was little because my older sisters friend actually gave me all of hers too. I used to be obsessed with them and actually played with them until I was like 12, not gonna lie.

I found my old spice girl dolls that were still in boxes and never opened. Im gonna give them to the girls I nanny. lol.

A 100, Alexa? Lucky! I took ages to accumulate my collection of dolls but I did have a pretty badass and complete collection of Barbie furniture (almost the entire house set, I remember). By the time I actually got there though, I was a lot older and didn't play it as much already.

Back to work ... my trip was pretty good but I am glad to be home. I got to catch up with sleep and it was a pretty relaxing pace, and food there was good (but a bit too oily for my taste) so that was nice.

Ugh I need to get my flab ass to the gym - when I was in London I dropped weight from all the walking (I was averaging around 24k steps a day), and of course as soon as I get back I eat like a pig. I have no discipline.

After the initial post-holiday blues, I'm good now.

Woot, another public holiday today so I could sleep in. Went for birthday brunch and now, I'm chilling at home.

Need to get my butt over to the gym too, I haven't due to my trip and haven't been well this week so I skipped it too. 24k steps though, Lisa? That's a lot! And I absolutely have no discipline too ... we need to start a support group, I think.

I cannot believe another year has almost passed. Time flies by. And the weather doesn't feel Christmas-y at all. It's +11 degrees Celsius in the middle of December. (we had snow two weeks ago )

We've had only two snowfalls this season. So odd for my part of the world. I'm sure the skiers haven't been too happy.

And last night a blew up a pyrex pan. Again. But this time I don't know why! I know what I did wrong last time. Totally just hadn't been thinking. (Put the pan on the stove and accidentally turned on the wrong burner ) But this time? No burners were on. I had just poured a hot batch of fudge in the pan to cool. And a few minutes later? BOOM! Scared the hell out of me. And a huge mess to clean up. And two batches of fudge ruined! (Cause the previous batch I made was sitting nearby in a an open tupperware). This means tonight I'll be going to the store to buy a new pyrex pan. And all the ingredients for fudge. Again. So not happy about this .
