I saw that video. Though, it's not new news, as the producers talked about this in the Vanity Fair Friends special article earlier this year, and I think it was briefly mentioned in one of the DVD commentaries. Still, I think we can all pretty much agree here that it's a good thing they didn't go with that "open" ending. I hate it when shows do that. I really can't imagine the series ending any other way, than with Ross and Rachel back together.

True. Though I think I would have accepted that open ended finale eventually. Sort of lol. I would have been annoyed (very annoyed), but at least they would still have been hinting that R/R could get back together eventually, and not ending it in a final way, closing that chapter; where there would be no indication they'd ever get together again.
