It was kinda awkward when Rachel just left when Ross was just waiting to have his own "goodbye" and everyone thought he was the next to get a private goodbye with Rachel too lol
But of course after that scene we got to understand Rachel's reason for not saying goodbye to him

The way Ross reacts is so funny (because Schwimmer plays is so brilliantly. Those facial expressions!

) but it's also really painful to watch. I feel so bad for him, because he's understandably hurt, but I also bad for Rachel, because Ross is yelling. Ugh, but yes, that scene in Ross' apartment, when Rachel explains why she didn't say goodbye to him, followed by that kiss.

SO MANY FEELINGS. That's got to be one of favourite scenes in the entire series.

Yeah, of course I understand Ross's reaction, especially since it was like a "in the moment" reaction when he went after her just a few minutes after she left him there chocked because of the no goodbye for him.
But I really love Rachel's expression after he left in that scene, it was like a mix of sadness, hurt, frustration and then of course a bit of anger. I know it was like a two seconds moment when we see her expression as he leave but I don't know, Jen was able to make me see/feel all of that with her teary eyes and expression lol

And yep, the scene in Ross's apartment after that is definitely one of my all time fave RnR's scenes too! It was just so damn good!

(And so well acted by both David and Jen, as usual

) There's so many things I could tell about this one scene, so many stuff I love

And of course I love that amazing kiss we got at the end

Yup, it was a very much an "in the moment" reaction. Sometimes when a person is so upset over something, they can react in such a way to get their feelings out, and not think about the other person. But again, I completely understand why he reacted that way.

And ugh, yes, I completely agree with you about Jen's expression in that scene. It was filled with so much emotion, and is just so heartbreakingly beautiful.

I always thought Jen and David got some of their best material to work with, when it came to R/R scenes. They had a lot of emotional and dramatic scenes together over the course of the series (from their kiss at CP, to their break-up and then even Emma's birth scene), and they always played so fantastically off of each other.

Ross and Rachel's break-up is always so heartbreaking and can be difficult to watch, but Jen and David are so damn amazing in that episode, that I LOVE watching it (and it's one of my favourite eps), just to see their brilliant acting together. I was more affected, and get more emotional from that scene, than I do from most drama shows, that are usually filled with emotional scenes like that.

Seeing them take care of Emma together always warms my shipper heart. Hehe.

I'm watching some early season 4 episodes right now, where R/R are at the height of their bickering post break-up. Sometimes it's so weird (but also great

) seeing them like that, knowing that in a few seasons they're going to have a baby together, and really grow up some; Rachel in particular.

Like Jennifer said they just "feed off each other".

And I agree, sometimes it is a bit weird/funny to look back at some of their scenes just post break-up knowing what will happen with them in the later seasons

But it does make it fun to watch those earlier episodes too

I have to say, it gives me the warm fuzzies when I start a re-watch of the series from the beginning, just knowing the journey they're about to embark on; knowing that through it all, they'll end up together.
