They start off talking about the season premiere & how they didn't know necessarily where they were going to go & end up when they did the season finale of S15 (or at least it sounds that way). Rocky was happy that Vance got to go on a field trip & was somewhere else - even if he was kidnapped/tied up :lol:. He also then talks about the relationship with the CIA woman. Rocky likes that they wrote it so "the audience will wonder if there's more to her than meets the eye"

Moving on to Torres - Wilmer speaks on how they played around with different things in his first season but now they've found his voice & who he is as a character. There is also teasing from executive producers Mark Horowitz & Chas. Floyd Johnson of the Bishop & Torres characters & the sexual tension there. But it also supposedly (according to Mark) is interesting to watch if there is or isn't something going on between characters so that doesn't sound promising that it won't move forward. They actually have Wilmer, Emily, Sean & Brian all speak about "Elick" & Brian suggests they should be "Bishick" or "Borres" instead of "Elick". Personally I haven't heard their shipper name but if its Elick I am with Brian on they could find something better...

Brian loved the episode where Torres & Palmer paint & fight together. I get the feeling that Brian would like to bring out a fighting side of Palmer more often :P

Next up "Ducky is a staple of the show". David is happy to see that Palmer is a doctor, & he's really happy with the new role for Ducky. Brian is also happy with what they've done & that he's sticking around too. David feels that its wonderful to be associated with a show which has respect for writing & acting & there's a formula that it follows - which he feels is something older shows have, not sure what he's implying about newer shows there...

Mark Horowitz likes the episodes which show some backstory/history of characters. He speaks about Once Upon a Tim, as does Steven D. Binder (show-runner & episode writer), & Sean. Sean has two left feet so he just shuffled around when he was meant to tap at the end of that episode :lol:

Mark Horowitz really likes Maria Bello & her character so for those who hope to see her gone I don't think she'll be gone any time soon. There is talk about what they were looking for when creating Sloane. They like how they can put her in a few different places/roles. Mark loves working opposite her & he doesn't mind if they want to pair Gibbs & Sloane together - but he also says Gibbs seems to be the most confused person when it comes to relationships :P. Maria also likes the idea of their pairing & working with Mark Harmon...

Now secrets... Gibbs coming clean about killing Pedro Hernandez & their dealing with that. Mark suggested a story at some point but I don't know what that story was but it has some connection to the finale few eps... it isn't really explained but I guess it is what Gibbs would do if he is forced to come clean? I have no idea. But he suggested something at some point :P. Mark doesn't know what Gibbs would do if you take his job away from him & he plays him :P. There's changes happening in Gibbs life, his character is changing, & we will see this coming through in season 17

Diona Reasonover starts off speaking about how she got into acting. Frank Cardea (EP) says everyone embraced her & welcomed her to the show & that it feels like she's been there for years. Steven D. Binder (EP) thinks that they could not have done better with her casting & character. He also says that she's really good at bringing their script/words to life (not with that wording, but basically the gist of it)

According to Chas. Floyd Johnson Diona has said that she had tough platform shoes to fill :lol:. He applauds her for coming in & doing it her own way even though she did have those tough shoes to fill. Mark Horowitz speaks about how he thinks she had a proper introduction & that it was nice how she was brought in, then got to work with Pauley before taking over being in that role (so to speak)

They have Wilmer speak about how this show doesn't have replacements. He feels that he was an ambitious choice & that Diona was a bold choice. "I think that's what NCIS does well, it empowers its characters to become something that NCIS hasn't seen". He then goes on to have a whole lot of praise for Diona & her acting

"Kasie Hines is a ball of enthusiasm, energy, she has the best of intentions & sometimes the worse of delivery. She gets very nervous around people sometimes. She's definitely still navigating the waters. I think of her as a baby deer who is learning how to walk." - Diona about Kasie

Brian & Diona speak of the friendship between Kasie & Palmer, along with what it is like to work together. Brian says it is nice to see a inter-gender friendship which is clearly a friendship & not a 'will they or won't they' situation. The actors are already friends in real life too :)

Mark says "Diona is a pro's pro" so high praise from him

Kevin Frazier starts off by saying he doesn't understand how you get a boat out of the basement. Brian's response - "well Kevin, there's a whole wall that's missing. I think we just solved it. We cracked that case." :lol:

David says S17 is not going to be the last one. It'll be a lifetime role for some of them, they'll never play another role :P

Frank Cardea says that having humor & the relationship between the cast which helps the show keep going. Steven D. Binder says its them all working together. They are all a family - cast & crew

Mark classes Sean as being there from the beginning & Brian coming in soon after while "the rest of us are all new" :love:. I just love how he worded that, showing how they are united (& classing Sean as being there from the start even though he wasn't). Another interesting point is Frank & Steven have been there from the beginning too

Mark is surprised by the amount of times Gibbs has been married :P. He is excited to play his character & the challenge of playing him with the current storyline

Supposedly its been a really happy writing room this year

Diona was shocked that they are all so nice :P She loved coming into the show as it was a family who felt like they wanted her to join it

Crazy to think Rocky came into the show in S5 thinking he'd caught the tail end of a good show & would have 2 or 3 years of it, & now that's 11 years ago :eek:

Wilmer compares it to theater & "the more fun you have on stage the more fun the audience has" which reflects in the show. He feels like he's going to know these people for the rest of his life :love:

They get asked about guest stars & Mark lists a few & ends up talking about how it is wonderful to get to work with David McCallum (is he a guest star now Mark? :P). It was really beautiful words - I posted them in the David/Ducky thread ;). David thanks him & then goes on talking about how he loves coming back to the show/set (& says lots of wonderful things which I don't think I could try quote but I'll happily rewatch & try if wanted). Poor Diona starts getting teary after Mark & David finish talking

McGee was created as a one off thing so Tony had someone to interact with while Kate & Gibbs were out on a sub. The chemistry was there & he became a regular & Frank says he's become their rock. Frank is soft spoken so he's a little hard to hear at times but he also says something about how when they have really hard dialogue they give it to Sean :lol:
Sean speaks about how McGee has grown from that S1 appearance to who he is now. Frank & Sean speak about how it mirrors his life as both Sean & McGee have married & had kids in the past 16 years

David & Brian have been together forever & always. Again Palmer was meant to be a one of character, but since David & Brian clicked & hit it off they kept bringing Palmer back. Mark shares a story about how on that first day David invited Brian to an autopsy & Mark knew something was happening there - David was testing Brian, but also liked him.

Wilmer feels that the friendship & silliness in the friendship between Emily & him has been brought by them into their scenes, which then has evolved into them possibly being something. No one knows where it is going :P. Steven says "It is interesting because the question is two things - one is if its going to go, what's that moment when it goes because that's really where the magic happens; & two if it goes what kind of relationship will these two have because there's all kinds of relationships & we've been in all kinds - & that's the thing we're still trying to figure out. [Torres] is sort of a new character, so we're still trying to figure him out, so we're still learning a lot about him, but all I can tell you guys is that's its going to be horrible. And by horrible I mean awesome." (I was going to post it in the Torres/Bishop thread but it looks like we don't have one? :look:)
Brian also here wants to push "Borres" as the shipper name :P

Again the questioning goes on to discuss if Sloane/Gibbs could move to the next level... Frank addresses how some fans think so, especially after the Christmas episode. (Emily suggests "Sloabs" for the shipper name) Somewhere Emily & Wilmer got lost wanting to know what their characters were up to sitting in the car together while Gibbs & Sloane were talking & having their scene :P. Emily is basically just laughing so much here. Meanwhile Mark is trying to say that Maria & he played the scene a few different ways & while they didn't change the words they changed how they played them. Sounds like shooting those scenes was entertaining for the four of them :lol:

David found it amusing that when he went on a book tour he went for two days, meanwhile Ducky's had him going all over.

Interesting question on if it bothers them that they're the #1 show but never won an Emmy. Rocky makes a comment on how many shows have won but they're now no longer on air, they're a 'where are they now' while here NCIS is still going. Sort of comparing it to while yes they haven't won but they're still going so there is still a blessing even if yes they're not getting that recognition. Brian says its a bummer its not recognised but they hang their hat on the fans who do watch & appreciate the show

Emily says that shooting "She" was probably the most difficult one for her to do, but also probably her favourite. She's happy with how it turned out

Rocky says Vance's life has paralleled Gibbs'. Also the significant others play a high price - fans think how long will that person last, not how long the relationship will last :lol:
Maria needs to watch the previous episodes because Brian then responses directed at Sean that "your wife got blown up' meanwhile you hear Maria in the background saying she didn't know that while Sean is saying she survived & is alright now. Brian & Sean explain that's why she's in a wheelchair

There may be a future tap club between Palmer & McGee but the first rule of tap club is you don't speak of tap club ;) :P (Brian being amazing)

Mark "there are actors here who work more here dead than alive" :P (they were talking about character deaths & how you can die & still come back on this show)

Gina Lucita Monreal (writer/ co-executive producer) starts off talking about why she wrote the episode. She really wanted to write a Bishop episode to show who & where she is now, as well as something for her children to show the women in the show were heroes

Mostly this episode is about women & showcasing strong women

Gina feels that Bishop got to learn that she's stronger than she thought, & that she's the agent she wanted to be. Bishop also begins to see her empathy as a power that she can use to help her as an agent.

Mark's reaction to the show was how great of an episode it was for Emily while most connect it with Ziva. I thought that was an interesting point.

The executive producers are teasers saying there are questions out there, they don't know what they'll do to answer them, in regard to Ziva. But I guess back in this episode they couldn't say anything & they probably wouldn't have filmed anything confirming what they would do in the finale.

It's really Elick, I heard that before... But Borres have a better sound to it... :P

Also it's quite clear that Wilmer feels at home with the NCIS family. It's always good to hear when an actor says that he/she made a few life long friendships while on set!

What else? I had the feeling that Maria Bello is liked by the producers/writers, but most of the time I don't mind her... Still I'm not too keen on the whole Slibbs (?) romance idea...

We really don't have a Bishop/Torres thread? Maybe that's why I couldn't find it when I was looking for it back in June :P (It's something to consider then...) I love their friendship...

I can understand Emily saying that "She" was hard to shoot for her. It was a different episode for most of the cast, and she had the hardest part with it. I still think that she did a good job with the whole Ziva is alive storyline.

Yeah they pretty much confirm that it is Elick but I do agree it sounds weird :look:

All of what all of them say makes it clear all of them feel at home & like they're with family. But to already (sure he's not so new now, but still) be saying he's made lifelong friends & even to be saying that about people he's working with is amazing

I'm sure we did have a thread for Bishop/Torres. Must've just been people discussing them in one or both of their threads though as I couldn't find it. We should have one though as I know there's a few fans of at least their friendship if not the possible relationship

I can open the thread later on today, without the thread tags... I'm not familiar with them... So that we'll have a thread for their friendship/love interest... :)

Wilmer is still relatively knew at the show, and he already had one set of family with the cast of That 70s show. So it means a lot that he feels the same sort of acceptance & closeness with NCIS as he did with that show... Most actors are lucky to have "one extra set of family" during their acting career... Imo...
