So... question: Are there any songs that hearing live has given you a whole new appreciation for them?
Or vice versa? That you LOVE on the album but live just isn't the same?

I agree 100%! Well, at least we seem to have some hope with Souvenir, David has said it may be on the next album.

Wow, a very good question!

Hearing IDIFY live has made me love it even more than I already did. I mean I've loved it from the beginning (although admittedly it has never been my #1 fave) but it is totally awesome and amazing live.

The live version is so damn good it practically drives me insane.

So that one has definitely benefited from the live arrangement.

And vice versa... Well, saying that I was disappointed would be an overstatement, but when I heard CBTM live for the first time, I have to admit it left something to be desired. It wasn't as 'epic' that I might have expected based on the instrumentation and the potential the song has on the record. I do love it live too, and especially with all the tweaking the guys have done to it along the way. For example I watched a CBTM video from Des Moines today and I really loved it.

Everything else is pretty much even on the record and live, just as awesome.

Just the natural added bonus what a live performance is bound to bring to every song. Plus KOTN is the awesomeness especially when Hotel California is included.

I very much agree about IDIFY

It was never my fave on the record (as you know XD ) But I ADORE it live... more and more every time they do it

There's always been something extremely lovely and appealing about IDIFY to me from the beginning and I totally dug the live version when they did it for the first time back in February, I remember being pretty excited about it. But I'm glad they seem to have been doing it more and more lately and that it's FINALLY getting some appreciation. I never understood why people dislike it so much.

I don't dislike anything that's ever come out of bbz mouth

It just never grabbed me as much on the record as a lot others did

Maybe cuz it follows my favorite song... so I'm like: WOOOO!...oh. XD

I can understand that. But it's not a downer like that for me, in fact it's quite an... upper or whatever. xD Seriously, I love how on the record Lie fades right into IDIFY, it's really lovely.

Oh, I do the same thing.

That's really the only downside of listening to it on shuffle. xD

BTW, what I said earlier about CBTM live and it leaving something to be desired... Well, this leaves NOTHING to be desired. In fact, it's 100 % satisfying.

Everything, the little tweaks to the arrangement, the instrumentation, David's vocals, Andy and Kyle's harmonies, right to that Cookmann moment, is perfect. This is the best CBTM I've heard in a while. I'm in love all over again.

Light On has finally gone platinum!

Announced by David himself at the concert last night.

I hope there will be video because that show was EPIC!

Three platinum records in a year, pretty damn awesome!
