I'm so happy about that too.

No problem! The expression of the girl David is hugging is kinda amusing.

It's cute!

I'm just listened to Bar-Ba-Sol again. I can't believe this song has to grow on me but it did and it's one of my favorites now.

A Daily AntheM, clear standout song for me along with Permanent.

You just mentioned my top 2 songs from this album from the beginning! I can't believe BBS needed to grow on your but I'm glad it did.

And ADAM is just so special, so much love for that one.

I don't know what happened but something did and BBS is now one of my favorites. I love the energy of the song, I especially love the drum beats.

The lyrics are interesting.

Keeping quiet, laying low
Holding on to what I don’t want to know
Til the daylight turns to ash and blows away
Missing keys, bloody nose
Consequences of what I chose
Keep running into me
Don’t want my memory
It all comes so deftly

Awesome! I love that this is still one of the heaviest songs David's ever done. And I agree about the drum beat too. I love how David refered to it in one of his banters as 'stripper beat'.

The lyrics are very interesting! I love them! But I can't believe they changed the lyric to 'deftly' on the new DCO. These are from the old DCO and as you can see they say 'deathly'.

Keep runnin’ into me, don’t want my memory, it comes so deathly

From here.

Maybe it was wrong at first.

BTW, when you posted it was the 7-year anniversary of DCTR.

Because it was the 18th yesterday, I got another Anniversary Pledge track. This time it was the demo for Life on the Moon and I love it! It's very piano driven and David's vocals differ from the final track a bit, it sounds so beautiful. I need to listen to it with headphones to hear who's doing the backing vocals on it, they sound great too!

I've re-listened to that track and now I can't tell if David is singing the word 'deathly' or 'deftly'. I hear both. Which lyric do you think makes more sense in place?

Oh cool, nice that you got that pledge track. I always loved the beats and sounds from the song in the album. Piano driven sounds great.

It really does. Laura, I hope you were able to listen to it closely with headphones.

I still think it's "deathly" based on how he stresses the first syllable ("death-ly"). But I'm really not sure which one makes more sense, I'm still not entirely sure what those lyrics mean anyway.

It was to get some DCTR tracks as a part of the package too. LOTM has always been one of my favorite tracks from it and I loved hearing the demo and its more organic sound.
