I don't know if it matters but I'm sorry anyway, I forgot to post last week's numbers because they weren't out yet when I had the it in mind so this is gonna be "a double issue".

DCTR sold 7,699 (the week ending 5/03/09) which made the total 1,113,865 and it was #62 on Billboard.

Last week it had a nice bump, it sold 12,068 copies so the total is now 1,125,933 records sold. And it went up on Billboard too, it's now #47.

Hey, I care about the numbers. xD

Oh noes, triple post! Bad me. D:

So, DC's DC sold 7,926 copies last week so the total is now 1,133,859 records sold. It dropped on Billboard and is currently #61.

What will be interesting to see (at least to me ) how the AI (and possibly Ellen) appearance this week will affect the sales. I'd imagine there will be a considerable bump next week.

Since this has mainly been a monologue by me, I'm kinda reconsidering posting the sales numbers here (that and/or I've also been lazy and forgetful about it ). But on the other hand, it's so nice to have them in one place for people who are interested (that would be me).

Well, I'm gonna post the numbers from the missing weeks because they include the AI bump and I mentioned it in my previous post. I don't know, let's see where this goes from there.

Week ending 05/24/09 (the AI finale week): 16,719 copies sold, total 1,150,578 copies, #29 on Billboard. It over doubled its sales and went up over 30 spots on BB so Idol did give it a nice bump.

Week ending 05/31/09: 10,709 copies sold, total 1,161,287 copies, #46 on Billboard.

Week ending 06/07/09: 7,878 copies sold, total 1,169,165 copies, #63 on Billboard.

^ That would be last week. This week's numbers aren't out yet.

If you didn't already see it on LJ or even if you did, Imma post this here anyway.

The physical CD reads "Heroe" instead of "Heroes". Mr. Sensitive in the booklet is missing an 'i'. I checked, it's true! Who proof-read this thing?

(Lookie, not a single number in this post!)

Yes, words good, numbers bad. There will be no more numbers as far as I'm concerned.

I think for me it's because I haven't listened to the actual CD that much. I usually listen to the songs on my computer and when I listen to it in a CD form, it's a burned one with separate ADAM and KOTN with the bonus tracks minus TOML.

You guys should check it out though, it's funny. Poor David can't catch a break, remember AH and "Procelain"? xD

I looked at my cd and the only one I saw was the missing "i" in sensitive.

You know it almost seems like it was on purpose.

Look at the actual disc to see the "Heroe" thing.

Maybe they're trying to make it a collector's item.

I had to check it and yes.. true story

This is kinda album related... I guess, it's probably the best place to speculate about it.
David has said more than once lately that we'll be listening more of Souvenir soon. And apparently David and the band were in studio the day before (or the same day) as their Tulsa concert.
Looks like there will some sort of release. Maybe a deluxe album? EP? Just the song?

Paula, I'm pretty sure it's an honest typo. xD

Wow Ana, you always have the latest info. That's awesome news on Souvenir (whether it's just speculation), it would be awesome if they released a recorded version of it. A deluxe edition, please!! Or even just the song would make me happy. Hopefully we'll hear more soon.

A deluxe edition, that's all I'm saying. With Souvenir and WOWHHS and a Daversion of Anodyne and a couple of awesome covers (MITB!). And anything else you wanna add, Davers.
