Honestly, with all the attention on this guy, I a) do not see the charm, b) acting skills (and this is saying something, since I never take my judgement over teen drama acting beyond face-value), and c) what any other appeal there is to his storyline...

but i felt Eli was way out of line... Clare had every right to feel like that and i agreed with her for standing him up and leaving the him at the hospital..

People said that was OCC for Clare but honestly.. i don't think it was.. she always thinks of others before herself.. personally i am glad she didn't care and walked away..

Come on.. Clare is only 15.... she shouldn't have to be his saving grace...

I used to have hope for him, but the sad fact is he's going to enter season 11 bright and anew. He'll have "worked out his issues" over the break. I don't think he's going to be any less unbearable even if he never speaks to Clare again though.

As we discussed in the Ecrap thread, I think Eli was way too built up before he was even on the show. Nothing that he has actually done is interesting, credible, or appealing in the slightest. And it certainly doesn't help to hear people saying that he;s the greatest actor ever on Degrassi and that he;s the best character ever. Neither is true. Not in the slightest

Reasons why Eli sucks:
1.)He is always absolved of any wrongdoing, whether it be Fitz, Julia, or Eli, NOTHING is his fault.
2.)He's an aggorant and pretentious little jerk but he doesn't have the brains or skill to deserve such overconfidence.
3).He's wwhiny and pathetic. Seriously, that part with him crying because of Fitz made me lol but it was still embarassing at the same time.
4.)He's a bully. He got Fitz arrested for a crime he didn't commit. That's a freaking felony for god's sake, and no one EVER calls him out on it. Oh yeah, he never apologized or was punished like he deserved either.
5.)He poisoned the same person (who was trying to bury the hatchet) with a chemical known to be fatal. Never apologized or faced any consequences.
6.)His smirk makes me wish Fitz had stabbed him instead of the wall.
7.)He was a bad friend to Adam in Purple Pills.
8.)He's not completely ugly but he's nowhwere close to being attractive.
9.)He's super creepy.
10.)Season 10 was all about him. He was all over the damn place.
11.)The writers/producers are biased towards him.
12.)He barely has a personality but what's there is unlikeable.
13.)Munro is a crappy actor.
14.)His neglectful, druge addict parents are portrayed as a good thing.
15.)He's shamelessly manipulative.
17.)Becausse Clare used to have a personality.

Yes! I honestly do not understand why people like CeCe and Bullfrog. They're either completely unrealistic or completely terrible parents, and we have hardly seen anything that would make them likeable

I have a theory about Eli. I think that as long as Clare repels his attempts to get her back, he's just going to move on to the next victim girl. Right now it's just a WMG, but he may turn out to be even worse than he already seems.
