I tried to ignore them but with the Kenna being thrown in my face everywhere (on Twitter, Teenick's website, Much's website, etc.) I can no longer stand by and ignore it. Who's joining me in the resistance?

Why The Hate?
1) Because every time they're on screen we want to puke.
2) Because Jenna brings the worst out of KC and vice versa.
3) Because his game was more important than her once in a lifetime audition.
4) Because they're crap and barf personified.
5) Because they have no chemistry.
6) Because they harsh each other's performances.
7) Because they had to change KC's entire personality to make Kenna work.
8) Because he discouraged her just before her audition.
9) Because "I love these palms, these hands, these shoulders" etc. BARF!
10) Because they fight all the time!
11) Because he left her pregnant and alone.
12) Because they stuff food down each other's throats to cover up the fact they never talk!
13) Because everything they do is forced!
14) Because they make no sense!
15) Because KC smashed Clare's heart into a million peices for the Barbie.
16) Because we squealed of happiness when KC left Barbie.
17) Because they have no consistency!
18) Because they made out after Jenna had anal leakage... ew
19) Because they kissed after Jenna threw up... ew
20) Because their relationship is entirely superficial.
21) Because we're trying to forget these two had sex... really trying.
22) Because KC told Jenna to be "realistic" about her audition.
23) Because even though they're apparently "gifted" they're not very smart!

Thanks for the new thread! The title is awesome and I love the reason in it. It's completely true. Ever since "All Falls Down" where we found out that KC has knowledge of the boiler room being used for oral sex, I've been trying to forget it. That is more knowledge than I ever needed to know, about the Kenna relationship. I thought it was gross enough when we found out that they had sex and that Jenna was pregnant.

Kenna fails at everything. Even oral sex. Namely, they probably spawned the Keby in the boiler room because they were too dumb to distinguish Jenna's mouth from her...nether regions. Actually, it would be pretty easy to confuse because they're both always wallowing in disgusting bodily functions.

Edit: I thought of something nice to say about Kenna, so I'll mention it. I actually like their interactions in Heart Like Mine when Jenna was basically like "Hello, Coach Carson wants in your pants" and she was kind of supportive. The only problem is that the Klare scenes were a million times better (namely when they confront each other and he has the gun).

I kinda agree. I mean...I was just really glad during Heart Like Mine that someone told KC that Coach Carson was a creepazoid. I LOVED the Klare scenes in Heart Like Mine. In a way, I really want them to be friends again. Maybe if they were friends, she could help KC grow up a little bit more and then I could fully love KC again instead of being in a love/hate relationship with him.

I am just going to imagine that he and Jenna never even had sex. Even better. I'll imagine that Jenna's not even real and that she's all in KC's head. I'll take GoingInsane!KC, over Kenna actually being real.

Honestly, I never liked Kenna for even a split second. I thought they were disgusting and void of chemistry from the get-go and the fact that they'd shamelessly flirt with each other in front of Clare put me off from both of their characters. That said, I actually used to LIKE Jenna and I even shipped her with Dave and Clare. That all went out the window with HLM though.

I absolutely agree on all counts! I think it'd be a lot more interesting if Jenna banked her entire future on winning the contest only to lose and end up with nothing. I'm sick of Degrassi characters becoming famous overnight. Fame doesn't come on a silver platter. It's a cutthroat industry that's damn near impossible to prosper in. Many aspiring singers and actors spend years busting their asses to make a name for themselves and some even relocate to LA and end up on the streets. Just once I'd like for Degrassi to reflect the cold hard reality of show business for what it really is.

I couldn't even appreciate Kenna in that one because that was actually one of Klare's better episodes (that and In Your Eyes ironically after they broke up). That scene in the hallway was actually really special. I thought Ais and Sam had chemistry there. I dunno... that's one of my favorite scenes from season 9.

But of course Ais and Sam's chemistry in that episode made Sam and Jess's complete lack of chemistry all the more obvious!



I honestly hate the whole "Teen Star" plot in general. It's so unrealistic. Why can't they just do this storyline right?

Despite how pissed off I was with KC, that scene really stood out to me too. The Klare shipper in me wanted them to be friends at the very least. I especially enjoyed all of their interaction from In Your Eyes because it showed that despite his treatment of her, KC really did care for her and on some level recognized that he still wanted her in his life. There was something really bittersweet about his heartbroken expression in that final scene between them. I originally interpreted it as the writers leaving the door open for a reunion, but I guess it was meant as closure seeing as how Klare may as well cease to have existd for all of the interaction we're getting this season. I don't mind because now I have EClare to fangirl over, but I still wish for these two to properly make amends.

Same here, but I wouldn't rule out a little reunion just yet seeing as they've reunited Jenna/Clare/Alli in sloppy Degrassi fashion. I was seriously WTF'ing over that scene, although it's not entirely impossible because Clare is VERY forgiving. As much as I hate Jenna, I'm glad Clare doesn't have a grudge against her.

Now that I mention Jenna/Clare/Alli, I somehow get the feeling that the writers only brought them back together for Jenna's benefit, and no one else's (Alli doesn't count because she's not a real friend). I mean, how convenient is it that Jenna finds herself pregnant and lo and behold, Clare's fine with her (being that she doesn't know about her pregnancy)! If she ever makes it known to Clare that she and KC were responsible for the stains in the boiler room and the cinemas they attended then the writers will for sure make Clare support her after *all* she has been through. Even though the most plausible reaction would be to never want to see her frenemy again.

I do sympathize with Jenna to an extent, but I'm just saying that all the convenient routes the writers have taken for her sake are ridiculous.
