#508 "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want" Episode Discussion
5.08 - "Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want"
Date: February 19, 2008 Peyton (Hilarie Burton) admits her true feelings to Lucas (Chad Michael Murray). Brooke (Sophia Bush) makes a play for Owen (guest star Joe Manganiello) and Mouth (Lee Norris) tries to convince Millicent (guest star Lisa Goldstein) he’s a better man than she thinks he is. Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) wrestles with whether or not to reveal information that could ruin Lucas’ relationship, and Nathan (James Lafferty) is put in a position that could spell the end of his marriage. Lucas and Skills (Antwon Tanner) face the coaching prospect of playing their season opener at a disadvantage.  EDIT: Wow Lucas, that proposal was worse than I thought it was going to be. Don't propose if you weren't planning on it... and it was the same ring. Ridiculous! Actually. I thought the proposal was great and it made me believe in L/L. Michaela is a wonderful actress, so refreshing.

I have never been brought to tears by this show - until now.
OMG Hilarie was wonderful in that scene w/Brooke!!!!! I'm sorry - Haley is the bit** this week so far!!! This is so ridiculous! I hate what they've done to PH this year! Please stop the insanity! Maybe it'll get better before the end of the show - I hope so! I really used to love Haley - I just can't stand her this season!! |

I Love Molly!

I personally love Haley this season. She finally regrew that backbone that made her so unbelievably loveable way back. The fact that she's NOT willing to sit back and watch her friends return to their selfish and juvenile ways. At least SHE understands that there is absolutely NO JUSTIFICATION FOR CHEATING. I know that you may think so as an LP fan. But really, this is ridiculous. If they really love each other so much they would appreciate each other while together. The fact that they can't even respect their own relationship is probably the reason why they can't respect anyone else's.

While I am an LP fan - it's not only the unsympathetic bit**yness that they are giving her - it's the fact that Haley would never have let this nanny thing go this far! She's smarter than that!!
Please bring back some of the old Haley's sweetness and intelligence! It's one of the things that made me love her character...don't get offended, it's only one person's opinion!  |
