Yeah, that's true-we are evolving, and our tastes change.

And different things bring us comfort.

Remember how Titanic was my comfort?

That was such a big thing in my comfort zone. Now, I've kind of moved on to new things.

Titanic will be there for you whenever you need it, you know?

I think it's a good thing to expand our references and find new things to appreciate.

That way we have more "weapons" in our arsenal when we need something.

That is so true-the more tools & comfort we have to choose from, the better.

I definitely agree with that.

And sometimes, it's a matter of circumstances, too.

Sometimes, you feel more like Frozen and, other times, it'll be Titanic.

And then, I hope and expect, you'll find other sources of comfort as well.

And me, too. of course.

I agree, and I'm sure I'll find new things.

Right now it's Frozen and Pearl Harbor.

Pearl Harbor is tragic, but to me it's partially accurate on history.

And you know WWII is very interesting to me.

And I adore Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett.

Serisouly, there is no need to ever explain why you like something.

The point is that you like it.

That's all.

I know you like World War II history, but even if the Pearl Harbor wasn't a very realistic look at the war, you'd still be allowed to like it.

We like what we like.

True-we do like what we like.

Thank you. I forget that I don't have to explain my likes and dislikes, with you.

I'm so used to explaining myself here at my house.

You probably don't have to explain yourself to your brother and mother either, you know.

I mean, they know you better than I do.

And even if they forget that sometimes, you still don't need to explain yourself.

Now, the rest is just to get rid of whatever it is that makes you feel like you need to explain yourself to anyone.

True, and that gives me some direction as to what I'll talk to Ali about on Wednesday.

I do explain myself to everyone every where.

I don't know why, but now I'm determined to find out.

Well, okay.

Glad I could help?

If it helps you realize that you don't need to explain yourself to anyone, then that's a good thing.

I see that you already understand that you realized that feeling like you need to explaing yourself is something that you control and therefore can stop.

It's a very good thing.

And it really makes a difference already.

You really did help.

Stop what?

Stop feeling like anyone needs you to explain yourself.

Or stop feeling like you have to explain yourself.

Whichever one works for you.
