It's All Coming Back To Me
sung by: Celin Dion
Written By:
J. Steinman

Lyrics:
There were nights when the wind was so cold
That my body froze in bed
If I just listened to it
Right outside the window

There were days when the sun was so cruel
That all the tears turned to dust
And I just knew my eyes were
Drying up forever

I finished crying in the instant that you left
And I can't remember where or when or how
And I banished every memory you and I had ever made

But when you touch me like this
And you hold me like that
I just have to admit
That it's all coming back to me
When I touch you like this
And I hold you like that
It's so hard to believe but
It's all coming back to me

It's all coming back, it's all coming back to me now
There were moments of gold
And there were flashes of light
There were things I'd never do again
But then they'd always seemed right
There were nights of endless pleasure
It was more than any laws allow
Baby, Baby

If I kiss you like this
And if you whisper like that
It was lost long ago
But it's all coming back to me
If you want me like this
And if you need me like that
It was dead long ago
But it's all coming back to me
It's so hard to resist
And it's all coming back to me
I can barely recall
But it's all coming back to me now

But's all coming back

There were those empty threats and hollow lies
And whenever you tried to hurt me
I just hurt you even worse
And so much deeper

There were hours that just went on for days
When alone at last we'd count up all the chances
That were lost to us forever

But you were history with the slamming of the door
And I made myself so strong again somehow
And I never wasted any of my time on you since then

But if I touch you like this
And if you kiss me like that
It was so long ago
But it's all coming back to me
If you touch me like this
And if I kiss you like that
It was gone with the wind
But it's all coming back to me

It's all coming back, it's all coming back to me now
There were moments of gold
And there were flashes of light
There were things we'd never do again
But then they'd always seemed right
There were nights of endless pleasure
It was more than all your laws allow
Baby, Baby, Baby

When you touch me like this
And when you hold me like that
It was gone with the wind
But it's all coming back to me
When you see me like this
And when I see you like that
Then we see what we want to see
All coming back to me
The flesh and the fantasies
All coming back to me
I can barely recall
But it's all coming back to me now

If you forgive me all this
If I forgive you all that
We forgive and forget
And it's all coming back to me
When you see me like this
And when I see you like that
We see just what we want to see
Al coming back to me
The flesh and the fantasies
All coming back to me
I can barely recall but it's all coming back to me now
It's all coming back to me now
And when you kiss me like this
It's all coming back to me now
And when I touch you like that
It's all coming back to me now
If you do it like this
It's all coming back to me now
And if we...

Thanks for the song, Cuddles. It's one of my favorite by Celine but only a first runner up to My Heart Will Go On. BTW, I don't get to hear it played often on the radio and even with all the corny jokes made about the content and the length... every time I do hear it, it makes me want to run home and watch Titanic all over again, (or at least the second disc ).
I won't let go, Jack, I'll never let go.

RosGMom Oh, me too! I think the most beautiful rendition of that song was at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, set to the spraying of the fountains. I was crying by the end of the song.

Cuddles Thanks for the song. That is so beautiful! I don't know that I have heard it but the words are so romantic.

Review of The Butterfly Effect

Very brief synopsis:

Ashton Kruchner plays a man who has suffered blackouts as a child, and who suffers as he starts to recall what happened during those periods. Not surprisingly, those events scarred him and people close to him in truly devastating fashion. He discovers that by doing so, he can go back and change the events to result in different endings for the people close to him in his life – particularly Kayleigh, the girl he loves from a young age. Some are good – many are not. Happening by accident the first time, he finds himself in a spiral of going back trying to fix things, and yet discovering he ruined something else.

All that you may have seen from the promo in the theater or on TV (the one in the theater is much more intriguing – laying out exactly what I said above in that short time while the TV promo is more prosaic). What you don’t know until you see it is if this time travel type of show is hackneyed, trite, campy, or intriguing. Both of us (I drug my 21 year old nephew with me to see this) really enjoyed it and found it intriguing. No, it is not perfect. There are a couple of small quibbles I could make with the story. Most of the time, however, you are not overwhelmed by “been there, seen that before”, even if you have. Much is new and all of it interesting in the questions it poses, and it doesn’t take the easy out you might imagine.

For all who like this type of movie, I think you will find it worth your time to see it. I give it a B. It may be better than that for those who like this kind of movie, as I do. I know both of us want to see it again, although I will certainly wait for it to make it to video. For those who don’t like this kind of movie? You probably won’t have your mind changed.

Warning: There are a couple of scary parts that don’t last long, but they are way too much for younger children or sensitive types, who might be okay with it if viewed at home (when it makes it to the movie channels or video). There is definitely some bad language, some sex (although it isn’t explicitly shown, you see brief nudity and lots of noise and casual comments about sex. The worst part, though, is a few truly violent scenes, although they do not glory in the violence at all.

Trio harbors 'Grudge' over Shimizu redo

Bill Pullman, Clea DuVall and William Mapother have joined Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jason Behr and KaDee Strickland in helmer Takashi Shimizu's "The Grudge," the English-language remake of "Ju-on" produced by Sam Raimi's Ghost House Pictures for Columbia Pictures. Shooting starts in Tokyo later this month. The film centers on a curse that befalls someone who dies in the grip of a powerful rage. Those who encounter this murderous supernatural curse die, and a new one is born -- passed like a virus from victim to victim. DuVall and Mapother play a husband and wife living in Tokyo who unwittingly encounter the violent curse of their home's previous owner. Pullman plays an English professor.

Creative Light Doing New Jekyll Adaptation Source: Variety Monday, January 26, 2004

Creative Light Entertainment CEO Scott Zakarin will helm a contemporary feature retelling of Robert Louis Stevenson's "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" novella to begin principal photography in L.A. today, says Variety.

Jekyll, also written by Zakarin, stars Matt Keeslar (The Last Days of Disco) in the title role, along with Jonathan Silverman, Siena Goines (Judging Amy), [b]Desmond Askew (Go)[b]Roswell's Brody, Abigail Spencer (All My Children) and John Rubenstein (21 Grams).

Distribution has not been lined up for the film as yet, though production and distribution company Creative Light has a first-look deal with Miramax, which is releasing the company's most recent production, Mark Hamill's mocudocumentary Comic Book: The Movie, on DVD this Tuesday.

His script for the film, has Jekyll as a computer scientist who collaborates with his female lab assistant to create a powerful computer program that transforms him into a lustful and violent alternate personality that jeopardizes his marriage and friendships

We have a strange weather day here in Georgia today - my county is under a winter weather warning for potential freezing rain, while the counties to the east already have some frozen stuff. Meanwhile, the county due west to mine is under a Tornado watch. WTH? Yoo Hoo, Mother Nature, what are you smoking?

ABC Trims 'Threat Matrix' Season Order to 16
By Brian Ford Sullivan

CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has rolled back its commitment to "Threat Matrix," as the network revealed over the weekend that production will halt on the series after its 16th episode.

"Matrix" joins fellow freshman drama "10-8" and midseason comedy "The Big House" as series on the Alphabet's roster to have their episode orders trimmed. ABC cut "10-8's" run from 22 to 15 installments and "Big House's" from 13 to six back in December (read the story).

ABC however isn't the only broadcast network rescinding its orders this season as CBS cut "The Handler" from 22 to 15 episodes and "The Stones" from 13 to nine; NBC trimmed "American Dreams" from 22 to 18 installments and its upcoming midseason comedy "Come to Papa" from six to four; and "Jake 2.0" had its run rolled back from 22 to 16 episodes by UPN.

In addition, CBS' "Becker" (13 episodes), NBC's "Ed" (17 episodes), FOX's "Boston Public" (15 episodes) and UPN's "The Parkers" (19 episodes) will each close their runs early, all falling short of typical full season 22-episode orders.

As for "Matrix," ABC reps insist the series remains under consideration for its fall 2004 schedule. Daniel Voll, Fred Gerber, Emile Levisetti, Keith Addis, Michael Edelstein, Jim Parriott and John Shiban are the executive producers of the series, a co-production of Touchstone Television and Industry Television.

Song for today:

TO SIR WITH LOVE
LuLu

Those schoolgirl days
Of telling tales and biting nails are gone
But in my mind
I know they will still live on and on
But how do you thank someone
Who has taken you from crayons to perfume
It isn't easy but I'll try

If you wanted the sky I would write across the sky
In letters that would soar a thousand feet high
To Sir, With Love

Those awkward years
Have hurried by - why do they fly away
Why is it, sir
That children grow up to be people one day
What takes the place of climbing trees
And dirty knees in the world outside
What is there for you I can buy

If you wanted the world I'd surround it with a wall
I'd scrawl in words with letters ten feet tall
To Sir, With Love

The time has come
For closing books and long last looks must end
And as I leave
I know that I am leaving my best friend
A friend who taught me right
From wrong and weak from strong
That's a lot to learn - what can I give you in return

If you wanted the moon I would try to make a start
But I would rather you let me give my heart
To Sir, With Love

Magic Thanks for all the information

No thank you. Expected high 52, low 42 with showers developing. Same for tomorrow and warming to around 60 by Thursday.

I guess I'm a wuss.

And thanks for bringing over the info. on the various episode orders.
Here's a concept the studios should try. Take the time and money spent to develop several mediocre to idiotic series and instead develop one interesting show that is unique and well thought and planned out. And make it one that hasn't been done before or a rip off of something else. Hire good talent with chemistry and that can actually act instead of for their size double DD bras squeezed into a tank top. And then write scripts and storylines that are plausible and don’t insult the audience’s intelligence, and that they can relate to. Maybe then they could have a show that can keep their 22 episode order because people will be willing to make the investment of staying tuned each week to see what happens next.
What a concept, huh?
