Jen: Dawson, I hear they’re playing "JAWS."
Dawson: "JAWS"? Never heard of it.

Joey: Pacey... I wanted to see Dawson tonight not because for 4 months of my life he was my boyfriend, but because for the better part of my life he was my friend. And as my friend, I hurt him deeply. Living with that fact has caused me no small amount of guilt over the past 3 months. So, yes, I have been preoccupied, and it has made my mind wander. But... My heart? That's a fixed point. 3 months riding the open waters couldn't shake it, and I'll be damned if I’ll let your insecurities shake it. My heart never left this boat. It's never left you. As far as I can see, it's not going to any time soon.
Pacey:Ok, you got me.


Joey: Three months alone on a boat and you understood without a word why I wasn't ready. Do you really have to ask now why I am? So... in about ten seconds, I'm going to start kissing you. And if you don’t want me to... well, then I guess you’re just gonna have to stop me. Ten.

Joey's Speech: Principal Peskin. Our families. My fellow graduates. I stand before you aware of the similarities we share. I know you’re feeling -- outside of my incredible stage fright at this moment -- the same things I feel. Feelings of pride and accomplishment, of closure and regret, and a hopeful outlook for the future. You don’t need me to elaborate on those feelings. Instead I’d like to say something personal. And tell you that there are people in my life who are gone now. People I miss very much. And I am haunted by them in different ways. Whether we’re separated by death, or merely distance, I know they’re still with me. Because I keep them in my heart. The truth is, in time that’s all we’ll be to each other anyway... a population of memories. Some wonderful and endearing. Some less so. But taken together, those memories help make us who we are -- and who we will be. Whether you’re here with each other now... or merely in each other’s thoughts... remember one another on the road ahead. Joey: So what was yours, by the way?
Dawson: What was my what?
Joey: Your all-time most life altering moment?
Dawson: For all I know, it could be this one right now... saying good-bye to you.

Season 4 is definitely my fave season! So much PJness! :sigh:

This season was ok, I loved the You had me at goodbye episode because of Andie and her speech to everyone, she pulled everyone back togetter, that's what I think anyway :)

Awww great pics joshuazgirl! :love: Pjo were so great in this season!

Kelly I loved that scene so much, cause if there was anything that I missed in this season it was the group interaction, we needed more group moments :lol: Andie was great in that episode and i loved the speech and then the picture :love:

I liked Season 4, it had a lot of great moments :love:

I hope I don't offend anyone when I say this but I liked Season 4 because it showed me just how unsuited Pacey and Joey were together. Their constant bickering and the fact they grew further and further apart proved to me they weren't meant to be. But I can admit that in the early stages of the season, PJ had some really nice moments together.

Dawson was fantastic in this season. A more mature, level headed person, it was no wonder he soon won the heart of Gretchen. I love Dawson so I may be a bit bias but he was great in this season. I loved how he was inspired to make films again by Brooks and I adored the rebuilding of Dawson & Joey's friendship :love: Coda is one of my favourite episodes ever.:sigh:

I Really Like season 4 and the new characters like gretchen and drue!!But Its That Season That Andie left the show:(

Joshuaz -- ITA. ;) I loooove S4 PJ. I loved how we got to see them bicker, make up, and nearly every single episode had adorable moments and declarations of their love. I love watching them go through things together and always working them out, because it's what relationships are about. I love how they would drive each other crazy and fall even more in love as a result. They didn't just give up when they had a problem.


I got my S4 DVDs as quickly as I could after watching S3 and I will admit that I watched the entire thing in two days. :lol: I was hooked. :P

The downside? After episode 14, IMO, everything just went downhill. Perhaps my shipping preference blindsights me, but honestly, by this point, I had no interest in ANYTHING in the show besides my couple, as PJ had been the focal point of the show for nearly two years. In that time, for the most part, they had treated the relationship with respect. Once they stopped doing that, I had no interest in watching. I was either indifferent or just infuriated with all the other characters in the show. None of the other plotlines interested me one bit, and wouldn't for quite some time.

Besides a few moments here and there, from episodes 15 on, it just seemed like a different show to me. Though I ended it feeling frustrated and infuriated with the writers, after seeing the rest of the series, I accept it -- even if I don't like it.

I know how you feel about losing interest after your couple ends but in a way the focus on PJ bored me and I wished that they had focused more on other characters especially season 6.

When Andie left, there was a gap imo, I missed her :(

I too lost interest somewhat at the end of the season being a PJer and all. But it did have it's purpose. As great as PJ were together they needed the time apart to grow up and develop themselves. I too missed Andie when she left. I liked the character but the problem was the writers didn't know what to do with her. They could do their controversial story lines with Jack but after Andie and Pacey broke up they didn't know where to go with her.

Yeah I agree there about Andie. I think it's a shame that they couldn't do more with her, she had such potential...

I never lose interest in the show, because there was more things going on than couples breaking up :look:

I must be having major blonde moments because I never even put it together that this is what he told Joey by the fire in an earlier show in an earlier season. I've seen the episodes so many times but I don't know the names or seasons so I apologize for messing with the flow of the thread, but I have to say that I really love the hair brushing scene also :nod:

That quote is actually from Season 4 in the very last scene of a Winter's Tale. I know cause I just watched it :lol: However it is a reference back to scenes in Season 3.

Oh yeah *slaphead* :lol:

All I knew it sounded like an ep in season 3 :P
