I watched 'First Contact' last night. It's pretty good. I loved Data.

I read at another trekkie site that some Voyager cast members had already completed a mini-movie for a thrill ride. Has anyone else heard of this and if so can u give me the scoop??

I didn't like the first three movies at all, then, the fourth one came along, and I really liked it. That's when I decided that the movies weren't so bad after all... I have seen all of them up through Insurrection, and I still think that number four is the best.

Hey Rob. There's was a new movie last year, 'Nemesis'. In my opinion, it's not that great.

Nemesis never came to my little town, and I was looking for it, too!

I got to see it last night because I found the DVD at the local library. I liked it VERY much! I know that several of you don't, but I thought it was a great movie that moved along quite well. I'm one of Tom Hardy's new fangirls. Yay.

The Wrath of Khan was the first ST movie I saw. I must have been 7 or 8 and my mother took me to see it in the theater. I remember sitting up in the balcony section as we watched. I still think Ricardo Montalban has that essence of cool. He's like an outer-space Arthur Fonzirelli. (Well, I think it's a funny comparison.)

My other greatly enjoyed film was The Undescovered Country. A truly lovely film with cast really bringing on the goods.

I wasn't all that impressed with Generations because I thought the series finale "All Good Things" was much better, and I didn't have to pay to see that.

My favorites are definetly most of the even numbered ones, with the exception of Nemesis. Nemesis just tried to be something that Trek was not, that's why it failed so much. And the other exception being Insurrection.

Most people dislike Insurrection, but I feel it was the only one from TNG movies that was closest to Gene's vision of Trek.

I guess I need to go and rent Nemesis, so that I can see it, and that way, if I don't like it, I won't be stuck with it...

I think that renting it first might be a good idea Rob.

That's a good idea. I bought it, however, mainly because there were some scenes I liked about it, and not to mention, it completed my collection!

The 3rd one has been on a lot, but I don't have time to watch or tape it.
